We must be sure to NEVER allow the United States of America to fall under the authority of the United Nations, NATO, or any World Body, in any way |
I do NOT recommend that the United States get out of the United Nations I DO recommend that the United Nations get out of the United States France would be a good place for them |
Yes, I recommend that the United States stay in the United Nations Then I recommend that the United States teach the United Nations to "Do what you say and Say what you do", and generally teach the nations of the World how to be the Soveriegn Nations that they want to be AND Help the United Nations to assure that the people of the world have the Freedom that God gave them The time has come for all people of the world to have FREEDOM The time has come for all Dictators to be done away with and for the People of the World to choose thier leaders |
The assumption, in many minds, seems to be that whereas individual powers act on the world stage according to the brutal rules of realpolitik, the U.N. represents legitimacy and projects an aura of idealism. In fact, more than half a century of experience shows that the U.N. is a theater of hypocrisy, a sink of corruption, a street market of sordid bargains and a seminary of cynicism. It is a place where mass-murdering heads of state can stand tall and sell their votes to the highest bidder and where crimes against humanity are rewarded. For many people the true nature of the U.N. was epitomized by the news that Libya, a blood-soaked military dictatorship of the crudest kind, is to chair the U.N. Commissionon Human Rights. It's people like Muammar Qaddafi who benefit from the U.N., who are legitimized by its spurious respectability. Author: Forbes.com, Paul Johnson |
Here is some information about UN coruption that I just got from www.rushlimbaugh.com Kofi Annan's Oil-For-Food Corruption April 22, 2003 My lovely and gracious wife Marta - who continues her "birthweek" celebration with her birthday Tuesday - caught a report by Fox News Channel's Eric Shawn about the U.N. oil-for-food program. This hasn't been picked up anywhere, but it will come as a blockbuster revelation for anyone wondering why the French, Germans and Russians stood in the way of liberating Iraq. This program was supposed to help the starving Iraqi people. Instead, it was a cash cow. This is why I always tell you: follow the money. Kofi Annan personally oversaw this program, and okayed requests under this program for things like laser light show equipment and cartoon making apparatus for Baghdad Bob. The United Nations also reaped a tidy 2.2% windfall off every drop of Iraqi oil sold. Annan operated in secret, accountable to nobody. He's refused all requests to make records of this sweet deal public. The UN thinks of itself as unaccountable to anyone, but who keeps watch on whether they're helping the people where they deploy? Claudia Rosett's New York Times column which you can hear me read below - "Oil, Food and a Whole Lot of Questions" - reports that this program put "a veil of secrecy over tens of billions of dollars in contracts is an invitation to kickbacks, political back-scratching and smuggling done under cover of relief operations." Rosett: "I found nothing that would seem to contradict General Tommy Franks's comment that the system should have been named the 'oil-for-palace program.'" This is why we don't want Hans Blix or Koffi Annan anywhere near Iraq. The US is pushing to lift 12-year-old sanctions while the same Russians and French who wanted to lift the sanctions they blamed for Iraqi suffering under Saddam want to keep them in place! Reuters reports that Annan is at the Security Council talking about getting oil flowing again. There is no way Annan wants this embargo to end, because that would end the oil-for-food cash pipeline. This is a huge, huge untold story. Read and hear me talk about it below. U.N. "Enroned" Poor, Starving Iraqis April 22, 2003 This oil-for-food program amounted to a personal cash cow for Kofi Annan, France, Russia and to a lesser extent Syria with their illegal oil pipeline. You can hear me read from Claudia Rosett's blockbuster story in Friday's New York Times. It's headlined, "Oil, Food and a Whole Lot of Questions." Annan ran this program in total secret, with liberals who slurped up cash that was supposed to go to helping the Iraqi people. Kofi Annan is no man of the people. His annual salary approaches $300,000 - tax-free. He enjoys $25,000 annual slush fund for "personal entertainment," gets free security, and lives rent-free in a mansion on Manhattan's East Side. This from a man who pushes for Kyoto and all these other measures aimed at fleecing the wealth of America and the world! Rosett reports major inconsistencies in what few oil-for-food records the imperial UN has released. Who profited here, you liberals? You claim to not care about money at all, yet here are your people bilking the starving masses of Iraq. Annan listed companies in Russia and Syria as suppliers of Japanese vehicles, and Libya, Syria and Saudi Arabia supposedly produced powdered milk for Iraq. This is like something out of a crime syndicate. At an American Enterprise Institute seminar, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged reporters to tell this untold story. If you people are outraged over the Enron scandal, you should be screaming over this. No one exploited by Enron starved to death, while hundreds of thousands of Iraqis did as this program was corrupted by Kofi Annan and the United Nations. |
