14 December 2003 ...Anniversary of Wendell/Marilee AND Chantz/Irma... Sunday - Saddam Hussein Captured today!That is good News At about noon, Levi brought Melissa home, from Tucson. We had a really nice visit and got to take some pictures of Levi's new Toyota Convertable. Marilee, David, Melissa, Myself, attended Tithing Settlement with Bishop Cozart today. At 7pmMST We attended "The Messiah" put on by the Casa Grande Community at the Casa Grande Stake Center. It was really good.
14 December 2004 ......................................... Tuesday Marilee and Wendell were married on this day in 1991. Happy Anniversary to Wendell/Marilee We had a wonderful Anniversary today Marilee and I drove both the Silverado and the Malibu to the Casa Grande Stake Center. We left the Silverado there and went to the Arizona Temple where we did a session. As I was entering the dressing room a brother handed me one on his family names and asked if I wanted to take that name through and of course I said yes. Later as I got to looking at the slip of paper I saw that the name had been submitted by Kay Lines, Dad's Bishop. After the session, Marilee and I ate in the Temple Cafeteria. Very delicious meal and such a good atmosphere. We just loved it. We then walked to the Temple Visitors Center where we watched a new film "Testament". Oh my was that a good and powerful Movie about the life of Christ and how it affected the Americas. It was moving and I committed myself to reread those chapters in the "Book of Mormon". We then walked accross the street and visited for a few minutes with Dad and Twila. That was nice. We then went to Seagull Book and got a few Christmas Items. Next it was over the RS Distribution Center where we got the new Church Publication "Preach My Gospel". We then drove to the DQ in Casa Grande for some treats and on to the Casa Grande Stake Center where I stayed and Marilee went to Bus Stop for Melissa then on to Paradise. I went into Clerk's Office and prepared for the Tithing Settlement Session this evening. It was a big/busy one and the Bishop and I were quite busy till about 10pm. Then I gassed up the Silverado, at Albertsons and went home to Paradise and My sweet Marilee.
14 December 2005 ......................................... Wednesday Marilee and Wendell were married on this day in 1991. Happy Anniversary to Wendell/Marilee We had a wonderful Anniversary today, although different than we had planned!! Our plan was to attend a Temple Session than eat Lunch in the temple Cafeteria, but, Ann gave birth to little Sofia Danielle Haack on Monday the 12th. then our plan was to go to Sierra Vista today, to help Ann and to visit with Ann, Rob, Sofia, but, Marilee got very sick, yesterday, so we then had no choice but to stay home!! So this morning I took Melissa/Jesse to Seminary.then I took Melissa to school. I then came home and went to work until Marilee woke up and got up. By then Marilee was feeling good enough that we did some exploring in the Silverado. We drove out to Pioneer Rock on the North side of Newman Mountain. We loaded some gravel and some Rocks. We then drove back to Paradise. I unloaded the rock and gravel while Marilee drove to Casa Grande and brought Melissa home from School.
