Please tell me about any "ERRORS and/or OMISSIONS" so I can fix them. wendelleyring@yahoo.com 520-466-4108 ========================================== |
Marilee/Wendell were married on 14 December 1991 |
May 2007 ................. Tuesday Melissa and I take Marilee to Banner Desert for a class, then we drive to Nielson's Frozen Custard where we enjoy Grinders and Concretes. Then on to Grandmother's where we learn that the Refrigerator and Refrigeration Unit are not there. So I go to Laree's where the refrigerator is and She and Daneen help me load it into the Silverado. Then LaRee rides with me to Bryan's where I see the Refrigeration Unit and learn it is too heavy for her and I to load. So back to Hopi where Laree gets out and Keith gets in then we go load the unit into the Silverado. When we get back to Paradise we put the Refrigeration Unit on the Slab outside the East Door of the House and we put the Refrigerator in the house, taking the existing small refrigerators and the cabinet they were sitting on, out of the house. |
May 2007 ................... Wednesday Marilee works long and hard at reorginizing the house after having changed out the refrigerators yesterday. Marilee and Melissa and I go eat at Kyoto Bowl, in Chandler. It is great but the fish are different. I guess the old ones died. Then we go to Grandmother's where I load a Refrigerator and a Washer. After a nice visit with Grandmother and Keith and Laree and Trevor we drive back to Paradise. We learn that Keith Alan had a new baby today but by then it is too late for us to go see them, today, and we drive to Paradise. |
May 2007 ................ Thursday Marilee to work, I work here. I unload the Washer and Refrigerator from the Silverado. I put the Fridge out by the old refrigerators and I plug it in so see if it works. I put the Washer by our existing washer, to test it, but I have not yet tested it. I got the word, from SLC, that it is time to deal with Delinquent Audits so I spent the rest of the day doing that. We have neighbors moving into the Johnson's Place. I have not yet met them. |
May 2007 ........................ Friday My test of the Washer, from Grandmother's, shows that it does not work, so I will take out the STEEL wash tub and throw the rest of it away. My test of the Refrigerator, from Grandmother's, shows it does work, so I unplug it and later I will put it is behind the Generator. I remove the rear fuel tank from the Boat. Upon inspection of the interior of the tank I learn it is hopelessly rusted and since it has two(2) major baffels in it, it cannot be cleaned out! It is like three(3) fuel tanks and you could only clean the center tank, no matter how hard you tried. When Marilee and Melissa get home I have supper of Hamburgers and baked potatoes all ready to go. |
May 2007 ................. Saturday I finish the Lawn Mower Fuel tank repair and put the lawn mower back together. Marilee and I Irrigate the pasture. Marilee runs the lawn mower, ahead of the irrgation water, cutting down the weeds. We use .5 Acre Feet of water and it covers the pasture perfectly!!. Marilee and I visit with our new "Next Door" neighbor, Al. Marilee and I work at putting up more 4 x 4 boards in the "Garden of Marilee", here in Paradise. It was great working with Marilee and she creates this wonderful place of ours. Marilee and Melissa and Myself go the Casa Grande Stake Center for the Arizona City Ward's "Cinco de Mayo" celebration. Lots of People and good visiting. I love the people of the Arizona City Ward and I am so glad we live here!! We choose to sit at a table with a couple that we do not know. We learned that are Maria and Lee Daniels and they live in Mission Royal which puts them in the Casa Grande 2nd Ward. They are new to the area and I guess they had attended Arizona City Ward by mistake and thought they were in the correct ward. We had a really good visit and I am so glad we sat by the and got to know them. Later Brian and Maria Perkins also sat at the table with us and we all had a great visit. Brian was so willing to tell us all about the Rammed Earth Homes he is building. The bishopric, Duane Cozart and Mike Buis and Jacob Lamoreaux, had made a video, funny, of themselves and that was the main attraction of the program tonight. Cute, very cute. |
May 2007 ......................... Sunday Happy Birthday to C O U R T N E Y Eyring Courtney is twelve(12) years old today. Marilee, Melissa and Myself attend the Arizona City Ward, meeting in the Casa Grande Stake Center, in Casa Grande, Arizona, at 9am. Fast and Testimony meeting today because today is Fast Sunday. It is a wonderful meeting and the Spirit was there, you could feel it. I wanted to bear my testimony but there were three(3) babies blessed, so othere were lots of people wanting to bear their testimonies and it left not time for me. [no problem] Then Sunday School, Gospel Doctrine Class, had as a substitute teacher, Deanna Lamoreaux. Very well done. I am sorry that Brother Hogle is sick. I am glad he chose Sister Lamoreaux to subsitute for him. HighPriest's group meeting was good with Brother Bissels teaching from the talk by Elder Oaks about Priesthood Authority. I am glad I was there for that. After church I bring Marilee home to paradise. [Melissa went with Brad] The Silverado Battery failed and I tried the Impala Battery but it is also failed. So I have to pump up the tire on the Malibu and take it to go home teaching to the Deanne Lara Family. I have a wonderful Home Teaching Visit witht the Lara's and I am so glad that Brother Dunne decided to give them back to me. I come back home to Paradise where I pick up Marilee and we drive to Darren/Julie's for TACO SUNDAY/COURTNEY EYRING'S BIRTHDAY PARTY. I love being there with my family: Marilee, Dad, Twila, Pat, April, Darren, Julie, Jared, Matthew, Brandon, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly, Hank, no Michelle today, Emily, Jessica, Lindsay, Luke, I talked to Timothy and Tiffany on phone, Marilise, Dan, Carl, Jennifer, Matt. Marilee and I enjoy our ride back to Paradise and the rest of our evening together. |
May 2007 ................... Monday Marilee to work in Mesa, Wendell to work in Paradise. I had to buy two new batteries today. One from Wal*Mart and one from Checker. The Silverado battery [from Checker Auto 5 years ago] had failed. Also the Impala Battery [from Wal*Mart - 3 years ago], which I have been carrying as a spare battery when we go out in the boat, had failed. Good thing the Boat battery did not fail, out on the lake, because the backup battery, I have been carrying, would not have started the boat motor!! I added some support boards to the Boat Ladder that should make it much more usable, in the future. Looks very stormy over towards the Picacho Mountains but we never get a storm from it. I changed the Oil/Filter in the Silverado. I am searcing for a Fuel tank that will work in the Boat. When Marilee arrives home I have supper of Hamburgers, Baked Potatoes, CutCorn ready to go. After eating and watching a bit of "Silverado" we do a bit of Church History study for our Family Home Evening. We study Church History by going through that Pictures, in the Scriptures, of church history sites such as Kirtland and Navuoo temples, Liberty and Carthage Jails, and other places and discussing each of them. Melissa says our Family Prayer and it is time to go to bed for the day. |
May 2007 ........................ Tuesday Marilee is home today. I start off the day working on Area Auditor stuff and wendelleyring.com stuff. Happy Birthday to Sonya Anguiano and to Alicia Lucio. |
May 2007 ................... Wednesday Marilee and I drive over to visit Bridgette and to give her a few things of hers that we have here. One of the things was a Birthday Card for Gaia that I made for Gaia on her birthday. We got something to eat, at Jack in the Box, on the way home. We got a extra Breakfast Jack and took it to Melissa. I put a new float valve and a new V Belt into the Evaporitive Cooler. Tim called and wanted a photo of 3210 W. Paraiso so Marilee and I drove over there, took some photos and I just e-mailed them to him. |
May 2007 ........................ Thursday Marilee goes to work and Melissa goes with her. I work on Paradise, Boat, Area Auditor. I talk with Tim, on the Phone, about 3210 W. Paraiso. I also do some work on www.wendelleyring.com, updating my comments and feelings on the Iraq War. I get the rear fuel tank installed into the boat and I run a test of the engine/fuel system. It works good. |
May 2007 ........................ Friday Marilee goes to work in Mesa. I go to work in Paradise. I get the lawn mower going, again. I have the boat ready for another test run. Home Teaching visit with Sister Eva Haines. Good that I went because she needed me to change her air filter. Power went out, as I was making a loaf of bread, in the automatic bread making machine and it did not recover when the power came back on!! Later I noticed that the bread dough had risen all the way to the top, so I took the BreadPan, full of dough, out of the breadmaker and put it into the oven and 350 degrees. I baked perfectly and in fact seems to be a better loaf of bread, probably because it was allowed to "raise" too much. Good eating [smile]. Bridgette called and wanted us to come and get her.................so I met Marilee, in Casa Grande, on her way home from work, and we went and got Bridgette and Gaia. We did not see anyone else when we were there. Bridgette and Gaia spend the night here with us in Paradise. The story is much longer than that but that will do for now.[smile] |
May 2006 ....................... Saturday Nice Sunny day............ Jared goes through the temple, for the first time, today. WOW, this is GREAT. When Marilee and I leave for Mesa at 11:15amMST, Melissa, Bridgette and Gaia are still here. The Temple session is a large one and it takes a long time, but that is OK because it is Jared's First. It is a great experience with a lot of us waiting for a long time in the Celestial Room, for Jared to come through. Joe Andersen comes in and visits with us and that is nice. We then go over to the Texas Road House at Stapley and I60 but they have a 3 hours wait time so we go accross the parking lot to El Paso BBQ. Very good food and very good company, Patricia Kathleen sitting at our table with us. Marilee and I then drive home to Paradise, stopping in Casa Blanca for Gasoline. When we arrive home, we are the only ones here. I move Orion because he has eaten all the grass at the North End of Paradise. |
May 2007 ................... Sunday MOTHER's Day I start off the day by putting up a poster saying "Happy Mother's Day" to Marilee, then by putting Orion back into his pen, after the neighbor comes over to tell me he is out. Nice Sunny day today. |
May 2007 ................... Monday Marilee goes to work and takes Melissa with her. I go to Dr. Gonda. He is changing My Medication a bit!!! < I do some Area Audior work. Get Polaris Parts from Town and Country in Chandler. They ordered the wrong drive sprocket for the chain, so had to reorder the right sprocket!!. I come home and put on the parts that were right. |
May 2007 .................... Tuesday Got the Polaris running today. Works good. Had a hard time installing the Chain Master Link in this new "O" Ring chain. Having a hard time removing the Wash Tub, for a camping fireplace, from an old Washer that Grandmother gave us. Got the Boat ready for it's next test run..... |
May 2007 ................... Wednesday Happy Birthday to Keven Taner Hansen, by Grandson! Marilee and Melissa and Gaia and I go to Home Depot and get some lumber for building the Upper Level Bed into our living room. Then as Marilee tends Gaia I get started on building it. Did not get far, today, but got started [smile]. I get some important Area Auditor work done. I call to say Happy Birthday to Taner but he is not there, so I have a nice talk with Keven then with Tiffany. |
May 2007 .................... Thursday Marilee goes to work and she takes Melissa with her. I take the failed down hole pump to Grand Canyon Pump, in Phoenix Arizona and they are going to send me a new one!!!! We shall see! I fasten a 2/10 to the North Wall of the Living Room and I set a 4x4, vertically, at the Southwest corner of the upperlevel bed that I am building into the Living Room. Do some Area Auditor Work. |
May 2007................ Sunday I attend Stake Priesthood Meeting at 6am. It was very good and I am so glad I did not miss it. You can't get to heaven by accident -- you have to make it happen!! Just going to church on sunday is not enough.....It is a requirement, but it is not enough. It is the extra things that you voluntarily do that get you to heaven. One of those is when an extra meeting is scheduled -- BE THERE. No one thing you do or not do is going to get you to heaven........It is what you do day in and day out, for a lifetime. It is what you become!! That is what gets you to heaven. I find that some don't even know what Heaven is. I find that there are many diffenent opinions as to what heaven is. I have chosen to include herein what I think heaven is: Click Here |
May 2007 .................... Monday Bridgette and Gaia are here today. Marilee stays home from work. We get some more done on the bedroom we are building into the house. |
Marilee goes to work and takes Melissa with her. Bridgette and Gaia are here with me today. |
May 2007 ........................ Tuesday Marilee goes to work and takes Melissa with her. So it is just Bridgette and Gaia and Myself her today. When I get back from Eloy Service Center [where I learn they cannot put Polaris Brake Disc onto their lathe] Town/Country [sprocket for Polaris] and HomeDepot [Lag Screws for new Bedroom] Chase [deposit check from SLC], Bridgette and Gaia and their car are not here and are not seen or heard from again today??? I proceed to build ladder for Bedroom and put new spocket into Polaris. Do Area Auditor work. Very tired today! |
May 2007 ...................... Wednesday Marilee does not go to work today. |
May 2007 .................... Sunday Marilee and Melissa and I attend Arizona City Ward at 9am. Marilee and I both teach Page 14, Elder Dickson, from the May Ensign. She teaches in RS and I teach in combined Elders/High Priests. Brother and Sister Hardy home teach us, at the church, after the block. After lunch and a nap, Sister Grover is here for Visiting Teaching and I go Home Teaching to Sister Proctor and Brother Nichols and Sister Wilson. Marilee fixes supper of Salmon and Carrots. It is really good. Marilee and I have more discussions about Cain and why he did what he did. |
May 2007 .................. Monday MEMORIAL DAY I DO remember our Dead Soldiers and I am thankful for what they did for me that I cannot do for myself!! Defend the United States of America!!! Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day as a time for decorating the graves of Civil War veterans, has become a day for remembering all honored dead. At the close of the Civil War a group of women in Columbus , Mississippi honored both Confederate and Union soldiers by placing flowers on their graves. When, at the close of the war, this news reached the North, it helped to heal the recent wounds. The use of flowers in paying tribute to the dead is a custom in many cultures. Probably the greatest impetus for setting aside a national holiday for the purpose was given in 1868 by General J. A. Logan, National Commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, when he issued an order to all chapters to set aside May 30 as a day for decorating the graves of those who died in defense of their country. “Every post of the Grand Army should hold suitable exercises and decorate the graves of their dead comrades with flowers. Let no ravages of time testify to coming generations that we have forgotten as a people the cost of a free and individual republic.” General John A. Logan: Commander-in-Chief – Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Day was originally set aside in our country to honor the war dead, but it has become a time of personal and family commemoration of the dead as well. “A flag for the soldier’s bier who died that his land may live.” William Vaughn Moody Marilee went to work and Melissa went to Casa Grande. I work on Area Auditor Stuff. Levi calls to check on the progress of Sara/David's trip from Salt Lake City to here. Talking to Levi reminds me that I have not yet put photos of our new Bedroom onto www.wendelleyring.com, so I am doing that now. I go to Casa Grande to get some food and stamps and mail some Area Auditor Letters. Reinstalled some of the floorboards on the 40 foot flatbed trailer, getting it ready for a hayride on Saturday. Melissa gone all day. I talk to Troy Nichols, on the phone, and he is fine. He has noticed all the "Business Cards" I have been leaving, at his home, when I try to Home Teach him! I had some corn-on-the-cob cooked and ready when Marilee gets home from Banner Desert. We had a nice quite visit before going to bed. |
may 2007 ............ tuesday Marilee to work. Her last day of work, this week, because this is the Week that David comes home, after 2 years in Canada!!! I go to town and get Rear Shocks and Brake Pads, at PepBoys, for the Silverado. I go to Post Office and mail, to Rob, some Dr.Scholls, inserts for his boots. Exchange Clean shirts for dirty shirts at laundry. Deposit a refund check, from State Farm, into Chase Bank. Did a lot of Area Auditor work today, including and e-mail exchange with Dan Dahlgren concerning their overpayment of My Expenses. About 7pm Sara/David arrive, SLC, via Tucson. Good to see them after such a long time. They will be staying for awhile. Then a little later Rachel and Ashley come for a visit. They are down from Snowflake and have been visiting in Maricopa. About 8:30pm Marilee arrives home from work. Always good to see her but especially so this evening. We all [Marilee, Sara, David, Rachel, Ashley, Melissa, Myself] have a wonderful visit with lots of nice things to eat. Finally, near midnight, We retire for the night, and Rachel/Ashley return to Maricopa for the night. |
May 2007 ................... Wednesday In addition to Marilee Melissa Myself, Sara and David are there this morning, after having spent the night in our new bedroom. Ann and Sofia came today. How nice to seem them all together. I would rather believe in God and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Atonement, then die and find out it is NOT true then to NOT believe in God and in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Atonement, then die and find out it IS true |
May 2007 ................. Thursday Lots of people, here in paradise, this morning. About 10am Rachel and Ashely also showed up. We finish off this day by driving to Sky Harbor to get David as he returns from his Mission in Montreal Canada. So good to see him, after all this time!!! Then Marilee and David and Rachel and Andrew and I drive to the Casa Grande Stake Office for David's exit interview with President Gibson. |
