01 March 2007 ................ Thursday Now the last Winnemucca Stake Audit has been entered into LUFAS, so I sent them an e-mail about that and thanked them for doing this good thing. A lot of Area Auditor Work today. I received a phone call from Winnemucca Stake Councelor Kirk Brower asking how to get the training on a CD so he can use it in a training session. I told him how to do that and I got to personally thank him for getting all the audits in and also for having no Bold Print Exceptions. Marilee and I go to town for some shopping and also I pick up my new prescriptions from Dr. Gonda. I get the #6 bare copper wire needed to gound the west cube but I never get it done, just too busy today. Chris Cole irrigates the property north of us, for the first time today. We talk with him for a bit and he assures us that he will put a headgate in the South to North Ditch so we can irrigate when we need to.[that did not happen so I had to put a dirt dam in his ditch on 03 april 2007 so I could irrigate!!]

02 March 2007 ............. Friday Happy Birthday to Kelly Mae Eyring She is seven(7) years old today. I talked to her, on the phone, and she is having a very good Birthday. It was a long hard day but I finished e-mailing "It's March" to all 100 Stakes. I started about 3:30amMS, but then had to stop at 05:30amMST because the power went out and did not come back on till after 10amMST. It was 25 Degrees, at 5:30amMST and I did not like that one bit. I had to get back into bed to survive the cold!! I sure am glad I do not live up north!!!!!! While the power was out and the Water Pressure had dropped to "0" I checked the air pressure in the Water Pressure tanks, all four of them. South one was down a couple psi but the other three were right at 38psi. I had a talk with David Pearson and it seems he is not as adamant about having Scott fix our well system as I am. What David Pearson is adamant about is installing Water Meters so he can see who is using the most water!!! I wonder what he will do when he learns that??? I don't care who is using the most water!!! There is always going to be somebody using the most water!!! DA What can you do about that?? NOTHING, that's what!! I am still cold when I go to bed tonight.

03 March 2007 ........................ Saturday I did a lot of Area Auditor work today. Mostly I was dealing with all the responses I had received from my "It's March" e-mailing to all 100 Stakes. There were a lot of changes in Staffing, that I was informed of and I had to update my records. Marilee and I went to the Birthday Dinner for Mom, at Matta's. Nick and the Utah Eyring were at a Birthday Dinner, form Mom, in Provo, at the same time, and they called to see how our dinner was going. Attending, here in Arizona, were Dad, Twila, Laddy, Marilee, Darren, Julie, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly, Hank, Emily, Pat, April, Dan, Jennifer and a lot of others.

04 March 2007 ..................... Sunday Marilee and I attend the Arizona City Ward at 9am. It was Fast and Testimony Meeting and we each took our turns bearing our testimony. The Holy Ghost was there and I am glad I did not miss it. One of the saddest things that I feel for those that don't attend Church is "they miss all of that". After Church Marilee goes with me to the home of Deann Lara for Home Teaching. Our Lesson for today was from the New Testament the books of Acts and Romans. WOW, what great books and what great teachings. We learned of the reality and the many witnesses of the Resurection of Jesus Christ, the need for and affect of the Holy Ghost, the EVIL of Homosexuality and that it is one of the worst of sins. How can anyone claim to embrace the Bible and then say that Homosexuality is NOT a sin? After that we drove to Grandmother's, in Mesa. We had a nice visit with Grandmother. We learned that Vinia will not be there till later, so we waited to visit with her and Cameron, later. We went over Keith/Laree's for a bit, as they were preparing for a big family dinner at Laree #2's. Then at 5pm the Family began to arrive and a nice big visit and feast. About that time I left and went to Darren/Julie's for "Taco Sunday". Lots of people there today and I loved it. I finished off the day by driving to Laree#2's where I met Rebecca's new friend, picked up Marilee and drove to Paradise. I loved it!! [big smile]

05 March 2007 ....................... Monday Marilee and I are here today, with Melissa still in North Carolina visiting with Ann and Sofia. We got a call telling us that Sofia hurt her foot while at the playground and they had to take her to the doctor. Seems she is going to be OK. Marilee and I ate lunch at Taco Bell in Casa Grande, then got some things at Home Depot and sent a FAX to the Audit Department, from Print and Pack. We worked around here, Paradise, the rest of the day and we loved it. For Family Home Evening we had Salad and Baked Potatoe and we took turns reading from our book about "The Atonement" . We were reading the part about becoming as God is and the proofs that we can and should do just that. The four(4) approaches, to this, that we read about are: 1) Scriptures, 2) Poetry, 3) Logic, 4) History. Marilee read it, out loud, then I read it, out loud. We wanted to be sure and understand this. Becoming as God is, is the reason that everything exists, everything that can perceive and many things that we cannot perceive. That is what God wants us to do, and when we choose not become as he is, we displease him. The greatest worship we can ever give unto him is to become like him!!

06 March 2007 ........................ Tuesday Marilee went to work today. Electricity and the Water went off before she left. Since it was 32 degrees and there was no heat or light, I went back to bed. We had electricy with I awoke the next time. I did a lot of Area Auditor work today. I talked to Kris Gurr, on the phone, and verified with him that when he called Preston Well Drilling about fixing our down hole pump on the Warranty that we purchased from him, three years ago, Preston Well Drilling did indeed tell Kris that the Warrenty Company had gone out of business and he could do nothing for us. So that is why we had Scott, Aqua Well Drilling replace the down hole pump motor, we were going to have to pay for it anyhow!! I informed Kris that I have been in communication with the Aermotor Warranty People and the are very much in business and they would have replace the motor with only a charge for the Labor, if we had used their dealer. I said we tried to use their dealer but he refused and we had to pay Scott. Also Kris was asking me if Scott has come and fixed the wire, hanging out in the open, on our Well. I said he has not done that. Kris said he is going to call Scott again and get him to do that because that is neither safe nor legal to leave that wire hanging out in the open!! He is also going to try and get Scott to put the pump back down in the well where it belongs, at least 20 feet if he refuses to go back down 40 feet. I asked Kris to also get Scott to give us our warranty and to give us the Manuals and Operating Instructions on the equipment he sold us!!.,br>

07 March 2007 ................... Wednesday Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert Medical Center. I get the West Cube grounded today. I go with Steve Brandt to help in the Audit of the San Tan Branch. It goes well as we visit with Jerry Feldmiller and President Nelson.

08 March 2007 ...................... Thursday Marilee is home today and she goes to town to get her new glasses and take some YW flyers to the Stake YW President, Karen Reynolds. At about noon I meet with Ray Donaldson, my home teaching partner, at the home of Sister Eva Haines. We have a nice visit with her and, at her request, give her a blessing. She has been ill and wanted a blessing. I get some glass from Sommers Glass for the North window of the Center Cube. I price a window for the East wall of the Center Cube but they are too expense for me, at this moment!! I check with the A-1 Salvage Yard but they don't have a window to fit. Marilee and I watch "Support Your Local Sheriff" and eat some Spagetti and Lasagne.

09 March 2007 ..................... Friday Marilee goes to work today. I install the glass into the north wall of the Center Cube. I do a lot of Area Auditor work today. A number of e-mails back and forth between me and SLC and Elko Nevada East Stake about what Family History Centers they have and where they are and how they are listed in LUFAS and CDOL. Buy two bales of Alfalfa Hay from Wuertz Farm @ $10.00 per bail. Get Ink and Paper and Coin Sorter and Oil/filters and long nose lighters from Wal*Mart. In Casa Grande I exchange dirty shirts for clean ones at Comet Cleaners. I order a 3050 Single Hung window, for the Center Cube, at Foxworth. When Marilee get home from Banner Desert Medical Center, at about 08:40pmMST I have some potatoes baked and we enjoy a few minutes together.

10 March 2007 .................... Saturday Marilee goes to work. I am feeling badly all morning and don't get much cone!! [frown]. I talk to Pat, on the phone, and we talk about a lot of things not the least of which is getting older!! Next Saturday she will be 60 years old and I will be 68. I put up the first piece of tar paper/chicken wire onto the Center Cube. Along the way I get some weed trimming and edging done. I do a lot of Area Auditor work. I talk with President Kempton of the Buckeye Stake and President Seletos of the Glendale Arizona North Stake. I am meeting with both of their stakes, this coming week, and we were firming up the details.

11 March 2007 .................... Sunday Could not sleep past 2:20am so I went to work on Area Auditor stuff. Also I started a loaf of bread so that was ready to eat at 5:30am. ummm ummm GOOD. I finished filling the "Table of Stakes" that I have been working on. Marilee went to work. I went to Church. Melissa is gone to North Carolina to visit with Ann/Sofia. I had several talks with Brother Brandt, on the phone, about audits and about the Florence Audit he did today. Farmer, Cris Cole, north of us, irrigated today.

12 March 2007 ...................... Monday Marilee and I drive to Sky Harbor and bring Melissa home. She has been visiting Ann in North Caroline, now we have her back home again. We get breakfast from Del Taco, on the way...

14 March 2007 .......................... Wednesday Happy Birthday to Robert Bret Smith [BUBBA] born this day in 1958! Marilee and I and Oreo, walk out to feed Orion. We check the gopher traps, while there but no gophers, though one of the traps had been covered with dirt!! We go to Eloy and get a "Burn Permit". They have change, a lot, showing how the Government loves to Govern EVERYTHING!!! I don't like it and I guess I need to vote out the existing County Officials and get some new ones in there!!! On the way home we get some Ice and things at IGA, there in Eloy. I drive to the Buckeye Stake Center for an auditor training session there. I get stuck in traffic, on I10, in Phoenix. I have to get off I10 and onto Buckeye Road @ Sky Harbor, then I take Buckeye Road all the way to Buckeye. Luckily I had left early enough to still get there early! It was a good experience and I enjoyed getting to meet Brother Gertch, Stake Clerk, and Brother Maxwell, High Councilor on the Audit Committee. Good men and lots of help to me. We met all together, in the High Council Room, for a bit, then the Finance People, including the Bishops, went to the RS Room where I had set up to do my presentation. There was a lot on interaction and questions. Hopefully I was able to help them do their job better. I sensed that they are like me....they want to do their job better.[smile] Then there was the 2 hour drive home which I enjoyed by listening to Michael Savage, about the United States of America and to CT the Brick, about sports and the United States of America. I found Marilee and Melissa well and happy and that made me even more happy. Marilee puts bug screens over the doors to the house!!

15 March 2007 .................... Thursday Marilee goes to work. Just Melissa and I here today. Very nice day. I start off by doing some Area Auditor work including e-mails to SLC and to other LUAATS trying to understand the "Other Account". I find the gopher, by Orion's pen has coverd my trap again. I redig and reset and get ready for the next go around... I drive to the Glendale Arizona North Stake Center and do some training of the Audit Committee and the Auditors and the Stake Clerks. It was nice that the Stake President was their also.

17 March 2007 ....................... Saturday Happy Birthay -- Patricia Kathleen Eyring [Pinky] Happy St. Patrick's Day Happy Birthday -- Wendell Haws Eyring Jr. [Laddy] Marilee, Melissa and I went to Pioneer Park, in Mesa, for a birthday lunch with Pat and several of the Family. We got to visit with Julie and the girls and with Dad/Twila and with Hank/Michelle and family. On the way home we stopped at Wal*Mart and got the fixings for the BonFire/Weiner Roast, here in Paradise, tonight. The first people started showing up about 5:30pmMST. Attending were: Grandmother, Kevin, Clayton and kids. Jinny not here today but she had Kevin bring me a Lemon Merenge Pie!![grin] Angela/Kenneth, Rebecca/friend, April and family. Pat, Randa Jo and Family. Tom/Debbie Mitchell and all the girls except Sara. the kids had a great time playing on the 40foot trailer!!! I built a BIG bonfire and we roasted a lot of hot dogs!!

18 March 2007 ................. Sunday Happy Birthday EDEN Marilee and Melissa and I attend the Arizona City Ward together. I loved that. For Breakfast and Lunch I ate leftovers from that wonderful BIRHDAY Party I had yesterday. There was a lot of sleep lost last night, over Bridge/Gaia......... I called SanDiego and talked to Rebecca and Shari and asked them to tell Eden Happy Birthday for me. She is 1 year old today.

19 March 2007 .................. Monday I went to Dr. Dick for a couple of fillings. That was a bad experience! I then could eat nothing till supper time then only soft food. So I baked some potatoes, until they were fluffy, and ate only the fluffy part, not the skin. Sure hated throwing away those skins!! I washed lots and lots of clothes today. I washed dished.

21 March 2007 ....................... Wednesday Happy Birthday to Sandra First Day of Spring Temple trip with Arizona City Ward Marilee and I are at the Tumbleweek Market in Arizona City by 07:05amMST. There we meet with the High Priest's Group and drive to the Arizona Temple for an Endowment Session. I meet and talk with Bill Skousen who was my bishop about 25 years ago and asked if he remembered when he challenged the ward to get an attendence of 100 people at ward temple night and then the bishopric would take us out to Steak Dinner. He remembered. We did get 100 people out to a temple session and the bishopric did put on a Steak Dinner for us at Val Vista Lakes and they cooked the steaks. It was a great time. Anyhow, we had about 15 of us there today and the High Priest's Group Leader bought lunch for all of us in the Temple Cafeteria. It was great. Marilee and I rode to and from the temple with John and Karen Bissell. They have a new Toyota Hybrid thing and it seemed to work well.

22 March 2007 ...................... Thursday It rained this morning, at about 1am. Marilee gone to work. Rained off and on all day long. Brent and Melissa and Brad meet with Bridgette and help her get her stuff out of storage.

23 March 2007 ................. Friday Rained all night last night. Very wet today Marilee goes to work. I go get a load of sand/gravel and dump it on Paradise Lane right in the middle of the biggest puddle of water. I Home Teach Dee Wilson and Sonja. Also I talk with Sister Haines, on the phone. The weed burner is not working properly so I repair it. I had a nice talk with the Flagstaff Financial Clerk and gave him some ideas on how to deal with their Other Sub-Catagories. I went to the desert and got a load of gravel which I dumped in the biggest water puddle, on Paradise Lane. I sent an e-mail to the Flagstaff Stake with some afterthoughts I had after talking to the Financial Clerk, Brother Felder, awhile ago.

24 March 2007 ................ Saturday Happy Birthday -- H A N N A H It rained againg last night. Lots of water around here so we do not attempt to burn weeds today. I went to the desert and got a load of gravel which I dumped in the water puddle on Paradise Lane. I loaded some dirt, into the Silverado, for Debbie Mitchell, then Marilee went to Debbie's to help her with her garden. I called and talked to Rebecca to tell Hannah HAPPY BIRHDAY for me. Hannah is gone with Shari, right now.

25 March 2007 .............. Sunday Nice sunny spring day today. Melissa and Marilee and I attend the Arizona City Ward at 9am. It is Fast and Testimony Meeting and it is a wonderful experience for all. Marilee and I attend the Gospel Doctrine Class, taught by brother Hogle, and it may have been the best Gospel Doctrine Class EVER and I told Brother Hoble so, afterwards. Marilee teaches from page 46 out of the October Ensign, to the Relief Society, and I teach the same Conference talk to the High Priest's Group. It went well for both of us. After the Block, we meet with Richard Hardy so he can Home Teach us. We then drive to the Mitchell's so we can look at the Yardwork and Garden that is taking shape there. Marilee has been helping Sister Mitchell with that and it looks wonderfull. We especially enjoyed the hummingbird, green hue to it, flitting around the flowers. Back in Paradise we take a nap. For Supper Marilee fixes a Potatoes, Carrots, Fish dish that is really good. Marilee and I take a nice long walk and really enjoy this beautiful PERFECT spring evening and it associated stars/moon. We feed Orion on the way. We take Oreo with us and we resolve to do this more often, escpecially while spring lasts. Darren send a photo of the USS New York that was built out of the scrap metal from the World Trade Center. That photo is now posted at www.wendelleyring.com.

26 March 2007 ....................... Monday Marilee goes to work. I take the Silverado to Cropper Chevrolet and they estimate it will cost nearly $3000.00 to repair the left door that will not not close properly!! I take the 2006 tax information to H&H and they will look it over. I get a prescription, for Melissa, from Walgreens. At 8pm Melissa and I meet Marilee at the Arizona Temple Visitors Center and we go to the viewing of Angel Johnson's Art Collection that is on display there. It is wonderful and I am so glad we did this for Family Home Evening. Melissa and I had gone a bit early so we visited with Dad and Twila. Dad was feeling well enough that they went with us to the Visitor's Center. It was a good evening. On the way back to Paradise, we stopped at DQ, on Southern, and enjoyed some treats there.

27 March 2007 ........................... Tuesday Happy Birthday to JERRY LAMB Marilee and I walk out to feed Orion and we take Oreo with us. That was a dissapointment to Ebony because she wanted to go with us!! Wind is blowing, a lot, today. Marilee does a lot of work on the Yard and House. I do a lot of work on the trees and gohpers and areaauditor.

28 March 2007 .................. Wednesday Marilee goes to work. I go to the Stake Center the help President Cavenee with his MLS Computer. I then ride with him to the Bank to make the Deposit. I fill up the Silverado with Gasoline at Safeway. It cost the most I ever paid for a tank of Fuel. I drove to Mitchell's to show the repair estimate and to discuss it with them but Sister Dewey just showed up with a bunch of kids and her and Sister Mitchell were quite busy so I just left the estimate with Sister Mitchell. I drove to Troy Nichols hoping to Home Teach him but noone home so I left a note. Melissa went to town at about 2:30pmMST. I worked on Area Auditor, Weeds, Gophers, Journal, Mail, Clothes Washing and stuff like that. I received call from President Hafen of the Mesquite Nevada Stake. He said they have done traing and Audits are done. I talked with President Walton and Audits have been sent in.

29 March 2007 ...................... Thursday Happy Birthday to Keven Marilee and I burn weeds today. We move Orion to the Pasture and put a rope on him so he won't break out and run around breaking things!!! Have a nice talk with Tiffany, on the phone, when I call to tell Keven Happy Birthday. They are having a bbq for him, this evening. Hank and Michelle are there. They are all working on trying to get Bubba elected to be the Mayor of Mesquite. I pay CAIID another Hundred Dollars and I order water for next tuesday.

30 March 2007 ................ Friday When this day begins I am sitting in my office responding to an e-mail from John Bissell. Cannot sleep, for some reason?

31 March 2007 ................. Saturday General Conference today. I goofed....I told Sister Mitchell that conference started at 10amMST so she and the girls showed up here, an hour late, to watch Conference with us. Conference actually started at 10amDST. Watching Conference with us [Marilee, Melissa, Myself] were the Mitchell Girls [Debbie, Sarah, Myriah, Deseree, Hannah, Myrissa, Naomi] Tom could not be here because of his work. Between sessions we worked out a trade concerning the Silverado and the weeds!! After the Afternoon session, I went to the Stake Center for the "Tailgate Party" and General Priesthood Meeting. I loved both. [grin]
