01 July 2007 ................. Sunday Arizona City Ward Meetings at 9am. I went with Cody Lara to Collect Fast Offereings then we went home teaching to Troy Nichols [not there] and to Deanna Jacob Lamoreaux. The Lamoreaux's were there, minus Kiera, and we had a good visit with them. Marilee, David, Rachel, Melissa, Brad and Myself went to Taco Sunday at Darren/Julie's. Lots of people there today. Tacos were GREAT. Then we went to LaRee/Keith's for a nice visit with the much family that was there.

02 July 2007 ................... Monday I stop by for a Home Teaching Visit with Dee Wilson. We have a really nice visit out in the Shed they are building to put the horse feed in and to have a workshop. I FAX my June "Expense Report" to the Audit Department in SLC. While there at Office Max I get Ink, Paper, Pens that I need for Area Auditor Work. Food from Wal*Mart and Gasoline from ARCO. I move Orion to fresh pasture! Get started putting the sideboards on the Boat Trailer. For Family Home Evening we read the Last Chapter of Ether and ate Fried Potatoes and Salad while Brad rode the Polaris.

03 July 2007 ................ Tuesday Happy Birthday to my brother Murr!! Happy Birthday to my sister Karen!! I call Murr to tell him Happy Birthday but I can only leave a message. I hope he gets it and knows I was thinking of him!! Murr called back and I got to talk to him for a little bit. I call Karen to tell her Happy Birthday but I can only leave a message. I FAX my June "Stewardship Report" to the Audit Department in SLC. Chris Cole is irrigating today. Melissa goes with Marilee when Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert. David goes with Rachel when he goes to work. I am feeling badly today and I require two naps rather than one?? I finish putting the right side rail onto the boat trailer.

04 July 2007 .................. Wednesday Independence Day -- USA Marilee goes to work. David, Rachel, Melissa, Brad are here with me. Looks like another hot summer day, but then, it IS July in Arizona.![grin] I repair the misting system and got the other two nozzels working. It reaches 124 degrees on our garden thermometer today. I do a lot of Area Auditor work. I finish installing the SideBoards on the Boat trailer. Install the new Bilge Blower into the boat along with the new quick disconnects for the rear fuel tank. I go to the Fireworks display in Eloy. It is great, as usual. then on the way home I see the fireworks around at Casa Grande, CAC, Coolidge, Florence, Sacaton and other places. When Marilee arrives home from work, she has Hayden with her. Hayden and I have some fun catching and playing with toads.

05 July 2007 .................. Thursday Here this moring are Marilee, David, Rachel, Melissa, Brad, Hayden, Myself. Nice Summer day, here in paradise. It gets to 125 degrees today.

06 July 2007 ........................ Friday Marilee and David go to work. Melissa and Brad go to town. Bridgette calls wanting gas money to get to Tucson. I meet Bridgette at Flying J and put gas in her car for her and Gaia and Jon. Hayden and I stay here and work on Area Auditor Stuff and on Cub Scouting [we built a paddle boat and get it working in the Bathtub] and Washing Clothes and Washing Dishes and on the Arena Craft Boat and on the Horse Trailer and on the horse pen and we chase a thunderstorm but never catch it then later it comes to us. A very minor storm but we have fun with it. I get call from Sister Grover about Sister Haines Car A/C quitting but I am unable to deal with that today so she gets brother Doughty to help. We had Matthew Golden Eyring's Eagle Court of Honor today but I received a call that it was postponed until tomorrow. It gets so 120 degrees today I am very tired. I am very far behind. I feel very inadequate.

07 July 2007 ...................... Saturday I work in the Office from 2 am till 4am because I cannot sleep because I am so far behind!!! Mostly I work on Area Auditor Stuff, but other things too. Marilee and Hayden and I go to Darren/Julie's at about 10amMST. Hayden stays there, at Darren/Julie's, to play with the cousins, while we attend a session at the Mesa Temple. It is a wonderful experience to be in a Temple Session with Wendy, Bubba, Darren, Julie, Michelle, Tiffany, Keven, Marilee. Joe Anderson is the Session Leader and he selects Keven and Tiffany as the witness couple. Tim and Sue had an activity with her family -- Shari and Butch have not arrived yet. After the Session we eat lunch in the Temple Cafeteria. Great Food, Great company. Joe Anderson and Vance Davidson are there, eating, so I get to introduce then to my family. I liked that. We go to Darren/Julies for more visiting. At 4pm we go to the Pueblo Stake Center for an Eagle Scout Court of Honor. The Eagle Scout being presented was Matthew Golden Eyring! Mel Stout was there to present Matthew with one of the Mormon Battalions numbered necherchief slides. Dad/Twila were there. In the Eagle's Nest were, Tim, Jared, Matthew. I wish David could have been there for that!! Marilee and Melissa and Hayden go home for the eveing. I stay at Darren's for the night. I get a call from Marilee, Melissa that they had a snake, in the house, and had to use a shovel to kill it and throw it outside. Scared Hayden so bad he slept with his Aunt Marilee this evening. I ride with Hank and Michelle to The Texas Roadhouse for supper with the kids. Good food and Shari Butch show up just as we are ordering our food. We have six(6) of the children present for this[Wendy, Timothy, Darren, Hank, Shari, Tiffany] and six(6) of the children that were not there [Levi, Ann, Bridgette, Sara, David, Melissa].

08 July 2007 .......................... Sunday This morning I awake in Mesa at Darren and Julies house. I go to church with Darren/Julie and family @ the Pueblo Stake Center. Marilee and David and Rachel and Melissa show up a little later and we attend the Sacrament Meeting for their ward. We have eight(8) of our twelve(12) children present at this Sacrament Meeting. It is Jared's farewell talk because he leaves next week to spend two(2) years in the China, Hong Kong mission. Darren gives one of the best talks I have ever heard in a Sacrament Meeting!! I wish I had a recording of it so I could listen to it over and over. Next we go to the Temple Visitor's Center where we take a lot of Pictures, both outside and inside. It is a wonderful experience to have so many of my loved ones so close to heaven. I want more of that!!! We go over to Dad's place and fill his living room with family. He seemed a bit overwhelmed by it all. 09 July 2007 .................. Monday Marilee and David leave for work. I work on Area Auditor Stuff. Murr and Erik come to visit. Murr brings Cherrys and Kool-Aid and that is nice. We ride in Murr's new truck to Flying J where we eat a good meal. Then we continue south on Sunshine all the way to the Santa Cruz river and we walk around in it for a bit.

12 July 2007 ......................... Thursday Happy Birthday Rachel Dorian Marilee and I spend the day working on putting a cover over the Washer/Dryer Area. 120 Degrees today and we feel it big time, working outside all day. In the evening I take Marilee and Melissa to dinner at Pizza Hut in Coolidge. It was good food and it was a pleasant experience for us. On the Way to Coolidge we drive over to the Picacho Resevoir and we find it so low they can no longer run the water down the North Canal.

13 July 2007 .......................... Friday Marilee goes to work taking David with her. I finished sending out my "Its July" message to all 100 Stakes today. Big job and has taken a long time to do. 115 degrees outside today, but it seemed like much hotter as I worked out in it all day. Melissa goes with Brad to get an Ultra Sound. I stay here in Paradise and mostly work on the cover for the Washer/Dryer Area and rewiring the Dryer Electrical Outlet. I ran conduit under the walkway outside the Kitchen door. By about Sundown I had the Washer/Dryere working again. Mailman brings us a package from Sara from Panama. .

14 July 2007 ......................... Saturday Marilee is home today and we irrigate the pasture. Later we take both the Malibu and the Silverado to Flying J and fill them with Gasoline. Now that cost us a lot of MONEY!! We then eat at Flying J. Marilee has a breakfast dish and I have a Hamburger. David and Rachel go to Phoenix or Mesa.

15 July 2007 ............... Sunday Marilee home today We go to Arizona City Ward Meetings at 9am. We had thought Melissa would have her baby today but it did not happen. Bishop Cozart and Brother Derek Ethington come here to visit Melissa and Brad. Rachel is also here but she leaves for Snowflake just after we have a delicious supper of Beans and Hamburger and Tortilla by Marilee. I love it. [smile] I called Emily and Ausin to tell them happy birthday. I actually got to talk to Austin and Tim and I left a message for Emily.

16 July 2007 ..................... Monday Melissa is still here......no baby yet! Marilee home today. David goes to work, he drives the Malibu. I get the Garbage Cans dumped in the Dumpster, before the truck comes to empty the Dumpster. I work on Area Auditor Stuff............. I drive to Casa Grande to make a deposit at Chase Bank. As I arrive there,I get a phone call from Marilee saying I need to come home so we can take Melissa to the Hospital. At about Noon, Brad and Melissa and Marilee drive to Banner Desert Meidcal Center for Labor and Delivery. Then I drive to Casa Grande and make a deposit at the Chase Bank. Also get some stamps and mail a letter at the Post Office. Marilee and Melissa and Brad get home about 6pm. No Baby Yet. For Family Home Evening, Marilee, David, myself have a really good discussion about the Gospel and "The Golden Text" in the 6th Chapter of Micah. We [Marilee, David, Melissa, Brad, Myself] all watch "The Testaments" on DVD. It really brought the Holy Ghost into our home and brought about more wonderful Gospel Discussion. It rains this evening. Lots of rain for a little while. Sure has been a long time!!!

17 July 2007 ....................... Tuesday Cloudy this morning. Melissa is still here...........no baby yet. I work on Area Auditor Stuff. Marilee and Melissa and Brad drive, in Brad's Car, to Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Labor is started, on Melissa, but no baby today. I do a lot of Area Auditor Work. Marilee and I talked on the phone and it is determined that there is no reason for me to come to the Hospital this evening.

18 July 2007 .................. Wednesday Happy Day of Birth to Jack When I awoke this morning, I was the only one here!! After talking to Marilee, on the phone, I drove to Banner Desert Medical Center to be with Marilee and Melissa. No Baby yet. I went to the Cafeteria to get some breakfast. When I got back to the room, there was a baby. They would not let me in the room, but I could hear the baby Sqwalering so I knew he was here!!! Jack was born at 09:37amMST. After they moved Melissa to a regular room, I brought Marilee home for some rest. By then she had been up and going for over 24 hours. Rest was the order of the day for her then. 120 degrees today After some rest and getting freshened up, Marilee goes back to Banner Desert Medical Center to be with Melissa/Jack. Marilee stays the night with Grandmother, so she can be close to Melissa/Jack. I have no running vehicles here, so I keep busy with all my haad, haad, wook., David and I have a nice visit, when he gets home.

19 July 2007 ............................. Thursday Only David and I here this morning, then David goes to work. Marilee spent the night at Grandmother's and then she is spending the day with Melissa/Jack at Banner Desert Medical Center. I work on wendelleyring.com trying to get the Melissa Area up to date. After Marilee comes home, we drive to Casa Grande, Enterprise RAC to get the Malibu that David is leaving there as he rents a car for driving to Snowflake this weekend. David is still there so we get to visit for a bit. Marilee and I eat at Arby's and have a nice discussion about the Future. We visit more, with David, at home, till he leaves to visit Melissa then spend the night at Andrew's then go to work, then drive to snowflake. Marilee and I decide to drive to Wal*Mart in Coolidge. Just before we start for Coolide, we are hit by a powerful Dust Storm right out of the South Southeast. Power goes off and on several times. When we finally find the Silverado and get into it, we can only drive about 2MPG down Paradise Lane as we leave. I run into a stack of Pallets we have there. Going down Batten we are off on one side of the road then off on the other side of the road, still going 2 to 3 MPH. Finally we get onto LaPalma where we are able to go 5 to 15 MPH. When we get to Highway 87 we are able to kick it up to about 30 MPH with occational slowdowns to 15 MPH. As we go into Wal*Mart it starts to rain and continues to do so, a lot, while we are shopping in Wal*Mart. The thunder is very loud all the time we are in Wal*Mart!! We meet and visit with Ben Parry as we check out at Wal*Mart. We get wet putting the food into the Silverado. We drive in a lot of rain getting back to Paradise, sometimes requiring the Wipers to be run on highest speed. 120 degrees today.

20 July 2007 ..................... Friday Happy Birthday Lindsay Melissa and her son Jack Alexander come home from the hospital, today. Marilee and I drive the Malibu to Banner Desert Medical Center, arriving just before 9am. We visit with Melissa, Brad and Jack then start loading their stuff into the car. Melissa and Jack ride with Marilee and Myself while Brad drives his car to Paradise. Did not get up to 120 degeers today. I did a lot of Area Auditor work this evening. Prepared instructions for Units with "Local Depository Bank Accounts". Brent was here, from Tucson, to visit with Melissa and Jack. I called Lindsay and told her Happy Birthday.

21 July 2007 .................. Saturday Up and atem at 5am It rained a bit last night. Area Auditor Work I left for Sky Harbor at about 7am. In Casa Grande I got some fittings for the Evap. Cooler and Pillow Cases for our Pillow and Gas for the Malibu and a bite to eat. I then went to Sky Harbor where I picked up Sara/David who had just returned from CostaRica/NorthCarolina. When we got home I took a nap. Levi/Priscilla were here when I awoke. We had a very nice visit. Everyone enjoyed seeing Jack for the first time. I repaired the water leak at the Evaporative Cooler. I fixed a Salad which everyone seemed to enjoy. I move Orion to the Pasture and he liked that. Levi/Priscill drove back to Yuma and Sara/David were to drive there also, but, they were just too tired so they stayed here for the night. I visited Sister Haines where I replaced the battery in her Smoke Alarm and the Filter in her Air Conditioner. e-mailed a copy of my new instructions for Units with Local Depository Bank Account, to the Casa Grande Stake only. I have also e-mailed a copy to SLC for there suggenstions on it.

22 July 2007 ................ Sunday Up at 5am. Washed myself and some towels for the family. Marilee and I drive, seperately, to Arizona City Ward Meetings, because I go Home Teaching after the Block. We get there early enought to get our new Temple Recommends from Jacob Lamoreaux. Also early enough to have discussions with Brother Lamoreaux and Brother/Sister Dunne as to what lesson we are to teach in Priesthood Meeting/ RS. We decided on "It's true, isn't it" Sacrament Meeting is great. I meet Jack Brimhall, who was raised in Chandler. Sunday School was great and I learned a lot. . During the third hour, I taught is High Priests Group while Marilee taught in RS. It went well and it was a good experience for both of us. I then went home Teaching at the Deanne Lara home. I met Sister Lara's Dad for the first time. He is living there with them now. Attending were Sister Lara's Dad, Soliel, Angela, Cody, Katie. Also there for part of the time were Joe and his son Logan. It was a wonderful visit and we went through both Thessalonians. Next Month we will do both Timothys. I then went to Troy Nichols, he was not there, so I left a card. I then went to TA to visit Jennifer Proctor, she was not there, so I left a Card.

23 July 2007 ................. Monday I take Sara David to Budget Muffler to get their car repaired. I tow the broken Suburu to Casa Grande, then we go several places while waiting for the car to be repaired. We get gas at Safeway and oil filter at Wal*Mart. We then go to Budget Muffler and wait for the car to be finished. We have a really nice visit, during all of this. Sara/David then bring some "Jack in the Box" food to Pardise where we have a nice lunch together with Marilee. Marilee and Melissa and Jack and Brad attempted to go to Doctors Office today, but I10 was shutdown. We learn, later, that David was also caught in that same traffic jam on I10, making him late to work. We have storms all around us, 360 degrees, this evening. Finally we do get a VERY light rain. For Family Home Evening we eat tacos and we read II Nephi 32. Participating are Marilee, David, Melissa, Brad, Jack, Myself. Sara/David are now on their way to Yuma.

24 July 2007 .................. Tuesday Pioneer Day Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert and David goes to work at ????? and I go to work at Area Auditor Stuff. Raining, VERY lightly, this morning. Sun came out about noon and boy did it get hot and humid!!

25 July 2007 ............................ Wednesday Marilee and David take the Malibu to work today. While working on the Skeeter Vac, I got rained on and got so wet I had to change clothes. Skeeter Vac still will not run [frown]

26 July 2007 ....................... Thursday David goes to work in North Phoenix. . Marilee drives the Silverado and takes Melissa, Brad, Jack to the Doctor for a checkup. . I am feeling so badly this morning I have to take a nap at about 8am. After the Nap I do a lot of Area Auditor work, Wash a lot of Clothes, work on the Skeeter Vac but it just won't run!! I drive to Casa Grande to send Expense Report to SLC and to get a piece of tin to put over the Years Supply area between the East and West Cubes. . Doctor reports that Melissa and Jack are just fine. Sister Lamoreaux comes to visit Melissa and Jack. She tells me that Kiera DID get my happy birthday message and she loved it.

27 July 2007 ................... Friday Marilee and David leave for work, this morning. I do a lot of Area Auditor work. Another trip to Office Max to reFAX a receipt to SLC. Clothes from Comet Cleaners. Casa Grande had gotten a lot of rain, but we did not get any. Tradgedy today ................ while covering a Police Chase, in Phoenix, the Channel 3 Helicopter and the Channel 15 Helicopter collided, in mid air, both helicopter plunged to the ground and burned and all four(4) aboard were killed. When Marilee came home from work, we went to Flying J for supper.

28 July 2007 .................... Saturday Started off the day by changing the Oil/Filter in the Malibu. It was overdue, again. Now I am working on Area Auditor stuff and getting ready for a training session with the Casa Grande Stake, tomorrow the 29th. Marilee is home today. David is not here because he has gone to Snowflake to move Rachel's stuff into their new apartment in Phoenix.

29 July 2007 ................... Sunday We did not see David today but I understand he is back in the Valley. Marilee gone to work today. I go to Arizona City Ward Meetings at 9am. Later, at 7pm, I meet with the Casa Grande Stake Auditors for some training on the upcoming Audit.

30 July 2007 ................... Monday Marilee does not go to work today, she uses the new Lawn Mower and cut the grass around the house and cuts the weeds in the pasture. I run the edger around the house. Later I cut the grass on the west side of Paradise Lane.

31 July 2007 ................ Tuesday Marilee and David gone to work today, although David never even came home last night because he stayed at Andrew's. It rained last night, but not much. We now have mosquitoes.................... I went to TA for a home teaching visit with Jennifer. I was a nice, but short, visit. I went Troy Nichols home to visit but could only leave a card since he was not there. Chris Cole was working on his ditch so we visited about the repair of Batten Road and about his traveling on the East Side of the ditch. I then went to visit Wesley in Banner Baywood Medical Center. He was sleeping when I arrived and he recognized me immedietly when he awoke. We had a very nice visit and I read to him from the August Ensign that he had there. I felt as if our Mother's were watching us and it brought tears to my eyes. Took a long time to get home because Hunt Highway had washed out and I could not even get to Johnson Ranch, then so had Highway 87 when I detoured over to that. I was able to go through on 87 after waiting for other traffic to go through on the one open lane. . We had received a lot of rain, here in paradise!!.
