01 September 2006 ................... Friday Happy Birthday to Darren Happy Birthday to Shari When this day begins I am here working at the computer because I cannot sleep! I call Darren, to say HAPPY BIRHDAY, but he is not there so I talk to Jared. I call Shari, to say HAPPY BIRHDAY, but she is not there so I talk to Rachel. For the month of September I am serving as the Prinicple at the Seminary.

02 September 2006 ...................... Saturday Melissa is not here today. Spending the day with her friends in Casa Grande.br> Marilee goes to work in Mesa. I have to pump up both left tires on the Silverado. LR was down to 10psi and LF was down to 20psi. I go to help Matt Davenport with his Straw Bale Fence. I take some tools that might help him. I visit Troy Nichols then I visit Jennifer Proctor, at TA, then I visit Sonya. Sonya still says she IS coming to church tomorrow, so I make arrange arrangements for Sister Donaldson to pick her up and take her. I come home to eat a bite and get some more tools for Matt, then I go back and help Matt some more. After that I visit with Jack and Eva Haines. I do some more work on the boat and I DO get the horn working. That will save us about $40.00. I get a visit from David Johnson today. That was a surprise. He had driven here from Missouri to get Amanda [daughter] and take her back to Missouri with him. He borrowed a few tools from us to do some chores over at his place. Then he and Amanda head for Missouri. I wash a lot of dishes and clothes. tonight it rains almost all night.

03 September 2006 .................. Sunday Marilee and Melissa both go to work today. I go to the church at 6am. Bishopric Meeting at 7am. At 9:30am Ray Donaldson and I drive to Sonya Angiano's to bring her to church. Even though she told me Wednesday AND YESTERDAY that she would be ready to leave for church at 10:15am this morning, as usual, she was not even there!! She does this every time!! I teach the lesson in High Priest's Group. It is from page 36 in the May issue of the Ensign. After Church I take Steve and Miranda Burns home from church, then I drive to Darren/Julie's for "Taco Sunday". That was a wonderful experience, as usual. April and her family were there but Hank and his family was not. Darren has prepared and showed to us a DVD on the August Reunion. It was great and he gave me a copy.

04 September 2006 .......................... Monday Labor Day No work of School today. Marilee and I drive to Bergeron Marine, in Mesa, where we learn a few things we need to know to help with rebuilding our boat. We then drive to Canyon Lake and check out all the Boat Ramps and Picnic Areas. We decide to use the first of both for the Youth Outing this coming Saturday Sky is cloudy and rainy looking, all day, but no rain. Later Marilee and I drive to Flying J to get Gasoline and Propane.

05 September 2006 ................... Tuesday I started building a Drag today. In the evening I went to the 2nd Ward and helped Bro. McNeil learn how to Reconcile Monthly Statements and the Other Account.

06 September 2006 ................... Wednesday HAPPY BIRHDAY M E L I S S A I went to Seminary, without Melissa/Megan, for my duties as Principle. Then I took the Silverado to Tire Pros for flat repair on both Left Tires. Marilee picked me up there and we drove to the Temple where we did sealings today. It was great! I would like to do this more often. On the way back to Tire Pros, in Casa Grande, we stopped at Bergeron Engineering and bought some 4" Exhaust Hose for the Boat. We then drove home. I finished the Drag and it works GREAT !!. I installed the Electric Fuel Pump into the Boat. Marilee/Melissa went to Mutual.

08 September 2006 ................... Friday Happy Wedding Day to Isaac and Jessika Happy Birthday to Alina Marilee goes to work. I take Melissa to Seminary then to school at CAC then at about noon I pick up Melissa from CAC and take her to Casa Grande High School. I do a lot of work on the boat today. Installed 4 toggle switches, one for each Bilge Pump.

09 September 2006 ....................... Saturday Marcus Bret Smith Born this day in 1982 HAPPY BIRHDAY -- M A R C U S Marilee and I did a lot of work around here, in Paradise, today. Marilee planted sweetpeas and other things. She also pulled the drag and really took down a lot of weeds. I worked on the boat and got a lot of wiring done there. In my effort to find a current phone number for Marcus I talked to Tim and to Wendy. I liked that. [smile] This evening I called Marcus and wished him a happpy birthday. We had a nice talk. He told me that Isaac did get married, yesterday, and that he, Isaac, is currently in CanCun Mexico on his Honeymoon.

11 September 2006 ............... Monday 911 plus five(5) years. Thanks to President George W. Bush we have not been hit again. It is so wise to keep the terrorist busy in Iraq/Afganistan so they don't have the time or resources to mount an attack here. We have to fight them [extreme islam] so better to fight them there then to fight them here. For Family Home Evening we read three chapters of scripture with each of us choosing a chapter. Melissa chose the 28th chapter of Alma, I chose the 49th chapter of Alma, Marilee chose the 4 chapter of 1st John.

12 September 2006 ................. Tuesday Primary Election Day Starting to get a sore throat.....gargling with a lot of Listerine. I take Melissa/Megan to Seminary, then after that I bring them both back home. I work on the Boat then in the afternoon Marilee and I go to Picacho to Vote. In the evening I go to Stake Center for training with the 2nd Ward. Marilee goes to Sherry Cardon's for a YW Presidency Meeting.

13 September 2006 ..................... Wednesday Sore Throat today. Marilee goes to work and I take Melissa to Seminary then to CAC. Megan was not out on Cornman for us to pickup and take to Seminary. I took Melissa by Bridgette's for something on the way from Seminary to CAC. I then went to Home Depot to get some 4.5 Inch Hose Clamps and some #10 wire and some 400 grit Sandpaper, for the boat. Wal*Mart for Antifreeze and distilled water for Silverado, which has a coolant leak.

15 September 2006 ................. Friday I take Melissa to Seminary then to School but Megan was not there for us to pick up and take to Seminary. I go to Doctor Gonda, because I have been sick for a couple days now. The good news is that he found my left ear is no longer infected. It took four different sets of anitbiotics to clear it up but it is now clear. I am glad to hear that. He prescibes a couple more things, for the cold/flu that I Have now. Marilee had a long hard day, at work today, and is really exhausted when she gets home.

16 September 2006 .............. Saturday Wayne Leavitt, new owner of Parcel #1 came by this morning. He is doing some work and wanted to turn on the water for clean up. David Pearson and I talked with him and I gave him some Deposit Slips to the Well Account at Stockmen's Bank and he promised to put $250.00 Deposit and $35.00 first Months fee, into the bank account, on Monday, so we let him turn on the water. Wayne and his brothers were there, with some equipment, and they were rearranging the property. Wayne agreed that he would never attempt to put a second house onto the existing well and understands that additionl houses will require a well of their own. Wayne says he is going to get the irrigation system working for the four 1 1/4 Acre lots he has created out of the 5 acre lot that #1 used to be. About 10am, Marilee and I take Melissa to work and we pick up Gaia from Bridgette so we can take care of her for the day. We get a few things, for the boat, at Home Depot then take the Attwood V500 Bilge Pump back to Wal*Mart because it will not pump the water of of the boat. Sad thing is that new one I bought, today, also will not pump water out of the boat. We take presciptions, to be filled, to Walgreens. We get some food at Wal*Mart then come on back to Paradise.

17 September 2006 ...................... Sunday I am at Clerk's Office by 6am. Bishopric Meeting at 7am. After Church I go pickup Gaia while Marilee attends BYC. Then Marilee takes me to the Lara Home for home teaching. At 3:30pm Ray Donaldson and I home teach the Deann Lara Family which is, for today, Cody and Sister Lara. It goes well and we cover Ecclieastes and Isiah. Bro. Donaldon takes me home where I have wonderful Dinner with Marilee. In the evening, Marilee and Gaia and I go to Fireside, about the upcoming Trek, at the Stake Center. Melissa shows up there also. We then take Gaia to Denny's, where Bridgette and John are, as we head for home.

19 September 2006 ................... Tuesday Marilee does not go to work and Melissa does not go to Seminary. I do go to Seminary, for my Principle Duties. While there I verify with Dean Lester that he is handling Principle duties, tomorrow, because I will be taking Melissa directly to CAC. Marilee and Melissa cut down a lot of weeds, around the fire pit. I put on a back of Stucco, on the East Cube. I get a phone call from RS Pres., Sis. Grover, telling me that Jack is getting worse and can I help Sis. Haines on Thursday or Friday. I said yes and that I will call Sis. Haines about that.

20 September 2006 .............. Wednesday Last Day of Summer Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert Medical Center and I take Melissa to school at CAC. I put on one bag of Stucco. I call Bergeron Marine and learn that they have the Rule 500 Bilge Pump, in stock, for $25.25. I will get one from them on Friday when I go to the Temple.

21 September 2006 ............... Thursday First Day of Fall - and it HAS cooled off Melissa and I go to Seminary, this morning. We work around the 5 acres today, including trying to trap a gopher, work on boat, chop weeds, and I repair the dryer because the parts came today.

22 September 2006 .................. Friday Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert Medical Center.

23 September 2006 ............... Saturday Happy Birthday - DAD I never did make contact with Dad today, but I did go by and leave and note at his house. Seems that he spent most of the day in the hospital because of an infection!@! Marilee and I went to Mesa at 7am where we picked up Grandmother, from Jeremy's house, and took her to Banner Desert Medical Center Emergency Room, where she was eventually admitted because Red Blood Cell Count problem. She was admitted into the area where Marilee works, so Marilee will be able to visit with her, when she is at work tomorrow.

25 September 2006 ..................... Monday Marilee goes to work. I take Melissa to Seminary then to school at CAC. I was finally able to call Dad and tell him Happy Birthday. Seem that we weren't the only ones that spent his birthday in the hospital. He also spent most of the day in the hospital!!. His Dyalisis hookup became infected and that had to be dealt with. Also I called Butch and wished him a happy birthday - for Yesterday. I got to talk for a bit with Shari and even said hello to Sariah. I liked that [smile].

26 September 2006 ................ Tuesday Marilee takes Melissa so Seminary, since she [Marilee] does not go to work today. I go to the Haine's Home at about 7am. I then stay there with Jack while Elnor Towne takes Eva Haines to Casa Grande for an Eye Exam. Jack slept most of the time. When he finally awoke I gave him a glass of water and as I was finishing that Eva came home. I take the inoperative Voltmeter out of the boat for testing. It is indeed bad so I have to buy a new one and put it into the boat. The new one works just fine. Now I have an operative Voltmeter and Ammeter, in the boat. Marilee and I go to Chase Bank where we get current signatures on both the Checking and the Savings account.

27 September 2006 ................. Wednesday Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert. I take Melissa to Seminary/School. At 6pm I pickup Melissa from CAC then go pickup up Megan and Anber Brimhall then take them to the Wyble's Home for Mutual.

28 September 2006 ............... Thursday Marilee goes to work and I take Melissa to Seminary/School. I get my hair cut at "The Clip Joint". I put on one bag of Stucco so that the east cube is now competely covered. Transcend Broadband, Dustin, came by today and could find nothing wrong with our broadband service so he moved our antenna, just to try something.
