Marilee/Wendell married 14 December 1991 |
March 2006 ............................ Friday Melissa drives the Hyundai to Seminary then School. I drive the Silverado to the Clerk's Office and do a bunch of work there. I am very tired so I come home and visit with Marilee, Ann, Sofia for awhile then go to bed for a few hours. I get to hold Sofia for awhile and I loved that. I held her while Ann was washing dishes and while I am eating the breakfast that Marilee fixed for me. Today I start working on the Quad, cleaning it a bit and taking off part of the plastic as I begin getting to the Engine so I can take it out and repair it!!. |
March 2006 ..................... Wednesday This eveing was YW Standard Night for the Casa Grande Stake. I went to it and Marilee came there from work at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. It was really good and I am glad I did not miss it. Brother Kent Ogaard did a really good presentation, in the Chapel. He talked about being a Police Officer and the importance of tools and keys. |
March 2006 ....................................... Thursday At 07:30am I helped Brother Webster enter Home Teaching information into the Computer at the Clerk's Office. I went to a Temple Session in Mesa. Then I ate lunch with Dad and Twila. Next stop was Town & County Polaris Dealer where I learned that they don't do the Cylinder Boring, they send it to CBA. So I took the Cylinder to CBA and talked to Scott. I left the cylinder there and he will bore it, after I get a new piston to him. I then went to see Adrian at RATV where I bought gaskets and a Piston. The piston will have to be ordered but I had to pay for it today. Lots and Lots of wind today!!! |
March 2006 ................................ Friday This morning I filled if for brother Niles Crease as the Pinciple at the Seminay at the Casa Grande Stake Center. Then there was a lot of Clerking to do and many phone calls to President Walton and Jeff Jung and Dean Scott and John Gay and Sally Jo Donaldson and many others in an effort to get ready for training sessions on 12 March and 19 March and 26 March. Also several Phone calls making sure that Scott @ CBA and Adrian @ RATV get the Cylinder measured and the piston ordered for my broken Polaris Quad. I bought a puller, for the Polaris Flywheel, at Freds Bolt and Nut. |
March 2006 ................................... Saturday Much Much wind this morning then -- After approx. 150 days without rain [the longest on record] today it is raining. Lots of water has fallen and it looks like there will be a lot more. Marilee and I went to town where we got a few things at Home Depot and at Fry's. |
March 2006 ............................... Monday Spring Break [from school] begins today and lasts all this week] |
March 2006 ................................ Tuesday Bubba's Birthday -- he is now 48 years old. I called to tell him happy birthday but he was not there. So I had a nice talk with Wendy and she will tell him happy birthday for me. Marilee did not go to work and Melissa did not go to school. Marilee and I had the priviledge of taking the Arizona City Ward Young Women to the Temple Visitors Center. The purpose in going there was to see the new movie about Joseph Smith. I loved it. Very dramatic and tells the story of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the early days of the church. We drove the Silverado and took Melissa, Myriah, Deseree with us. Maria Perkins drove and took Cera, Afton, Charity with her. The Wyble's drove and took Kelsie with them. Afterwards we ate at Wendy's on Country Club just north of Southern. We drove through Chandler, stopping and Town&Country where I purchased a Water Pump Gasket for the Polaris. We took Charity to her home on Debbie Lane then took both Deseree and Kelsie to the Wyble home on Royal Blackheath. Marilee worked on the Front Yard and I worked on the Polaris. As I was beginning to put the Engine back together and since I had cleaned it so well, I notice a crack in the Crankcase that I had not previously seen. So I will have to take the Engine back apart and repair that crack!! Marilee and I burned two piles of tumbleweeds, after it got dark. |
