June 2006 ................................. Thursday I visited the Carters today. First Brett then Marie. They are learning to deal with the passing of their wonderful Father and Husband, Lamont [Monty] Carter. The Funeral will be tomorrow at the Casa Grande Stake Center. Today Melissa finished her GED Testing and she did so well that CAC gave her a two(2) year scholarship!! Way to go Melissa!! To Celebrate that we went out to Chili's this evening. There were Marilee, Bridgette, Gaia, Melissa, Myself. It was great food and great celebrating of a very high accompolishment of Melissa. 01 June 2006 - Thursday @ 09:18amMST Dear Transcendbroadband, I am interested in being one of your beta testers for your VOIP offering. [Vonage type stuff] Thank you, Wendell Eyring wendelleyring@yahoo.com Wendell@wendelleyring.com www.wendelleyring.com 520-466-4108 3612 E. Blair Rd. 02 June 2006 .................... Friday I repaired the Washing Machine again today. Again the water valve was plugged up by all the rust that has been coming from the tank at the Well. Dear Senator McCain, I sent you a message, last week, about this, but I was very generic in what I said then. Now I want to be more specific: Please vote FOR the "Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA)! If you vote against the MPA, you are, in reality, voting for homosexual marriage. If you refuse to do so I will remember that, when election time comes. I am sorry to speak so strongly, but, the importance of having a Father and a Mother in each home, teaching children what is right and what is wrong, just may be the most important issue there is on your agenda!!! All the other issues can and will be resolved, over time, if we can have Father AND Mother in the home raising children to "Choose the Right". Thank you for your time, Wendell Eyring Jr. 3612 E. Blair Rd. Eloy, Arizona 85231 520-466-4108 wendelleyring@yahoo.com www.wendelleyring.com Dear Senator Kyle, Thank you for being a sponsor of the Bill requiring that Marriage be between a Man and a Woman ONLY. We need more Senators like you. END OF: 02 June 2006 .................... Friday |
June 2006 ........................ Saturday Marilee and I attended the Funeral of Lamont [Monty] Carter held at the Casa Grande Stake Center. It was the first time we had ever seen all six of his children. His kids did most of the Funeral Service plus there was a talk by Mark Dunne, the High Priest's Group Leader. then we went to the Lunch held in the Recreation Hall. We sat at the table with the Bissels and Dunnes and Hollidays. In the evening Marilee, Melissa and I enjoyed a beautiful sunset while sitting by out outdoor fireplace. I called and talked to Paul and Lana Dalton, because twila had told me that Lana had been very ill. I learned that it was true but she is getting better now. I was so glad to hear she is getting better. We had a nice and I enjoyed that!! END OF: 03 June 2006 .................... Saturday |
June 2006 ................ Sunday I go to Clerk's Office to get ready for todays meetings, and I do that at 7am. Marilee has Gaia with her, when she comes to church. We are taking care of Gaia while Bridgette is at work at Denny's. Many of the Carter Family bore their testimony today. It was a wonderful Testimony Meeting. Marilee was not feeling good today, so when Church was over, we went home for a little rest, then we went to Darren's for "Taco Sunday". Attending were, Dad, Twila, Pat, April, Dad, Jennifer, Matthew, Darren, Julie, Jared, Matthew, Brandon, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly, Hank, Michelle, Emily, Jessica, Lindsay, Luke, Marilee, Gaia, Melissa, Brad, Sherry Quiroz and children, Myself. Then Marilee went home to Paradise [she was quite ill by then] and had Melissa take Gaia back to Casa Grande, picking up Bridgette, from Dennys, and taking them home. When I left Darren's I went to Bunker's Morturary for the viewing of Duane Madsen. Dad and Twila got there at the same time and we visited with Ethlyn for a long time. Ethlyn and Dad are cousins and have had a lot of good experiences together in the 85 years. I think their mothers, Ethlyn and Edith must have been very close. Keith Johnson was there taking a lot of pictures and it was good to visit with him. My ears are bothering me a lot right now. END OF: 04 June 2006 ................ Sunday |
June 2006 .................... Monday The water pressure was low this morning and I found the water valve between the pump and the water line, to all four(4) properties, nearly closed??????? I opened it and all is well. |
June 2006 ........................................... Tuesday Happy Birthday to Kate Hansen, born this day in 2005. the water pressure was very low again this morning and again I found the water valve turned almost all the way off at the Well????? Marilee picked some squash and tomatoes from our garden this morning. I ate the tomatoes right away!! this morning I drove to the National Memorial Cemetary of Arizona for the Grave Dedication of Monte Carter. It is is Cave Creek, about 90 Miles from here. On the way home I fueled silverado at Albertsons and took shirts to Comet Cleaners. End of: 07 June 2006 .................. Wednesday |
June 2006 .................... thursday Good news this morning. Last night the US and Iraqi troops found and killed al-Zarqawi, the most brutal terrist in the Al-Quadai bunch. He personally sawed of the head of Nick Berg, about two years ago. He and his followers have murdered so many people in the last few years that the whole world is rejoicing his demise. END of: 08 June 2006 .................... thursday |

June 2006 ................ Sunday Marilee goes to work. I go to the Clerk's office where I do some work till PEC at 9am. The Galloway's speak in church today. I am alone because neither Marilee or Melissa are at church today. I home teach the Deann Lara family at 3:30pm. Present were Sister Lara and Soleil and Angela and Cody and Katie. I drive to Mesa and Darren's house where I meet a lot of family including Tim, Sue, Amber, Amy, Angela, Austin, Alina from Mesquite, Nevada. We have a wonderful visit. After we leave Darren/Julie's we go to an Eagle Court of Honor for Sue's Nephew. It was great, as usual. this ward converts about 90 percent of it's scouts to Eagle Scouts and they have about 150 Eagle Scouts, so far!!! WOW - Way to go. the other boy getting his Eagle Scout is the Grandson of Martin Kempton and he, President Kempton, is there. I take the opportunity to visit with Martin Kempton, for a few minutes, after the meeting is over. then we [tim, Angela, Luke, Austin, Myself] drive to Paradise via Johnson Ranch and Coolidge. We get home about 11pm and it seems everyone is too tired to get some bedding up on the roof and sleep under the starts. We drive down Ellsoworth Road and learn it is under major reconstruction almost all the way from the 60 to Queen Creek. I will not go that way again for a few years!!! It is a beautiful Full Moon tonight. |
June 2006 .................. Monday When we awake this morning, tim, Angela, Austin, Luke were here and I fixed breakfast for all of us. then we saddle up blaze and Angela spends most of the day riding her. I then train Luke and Austin on driving the Polaris and they take turns riding it for the rest of the day. Luke does have one wreck! He is driving along north Blair Rd. when a bug gets in his eye, he closes his eyes then runs into the ditch. He is not hurt and neither is the quad. About 9am Marilee and Melissa go to Central Arizona College and get Melissa to go to College in August. When they come home they have Gaia with them. About 2pm Sue and Michelle come to get their families. We have a really nice visit and they get to see Gaia for the first time. After they leave, I just go to bed for the rest of the day, I am sooo tired and I am hurting soo much. |
June 2006 ............................ tuesday Marilee goes to work today, at Banner Desert Medical Center. I get BYU tv [streaming] working on both of our computers. NOW we can get rid of the television [I hope]. Rush Limbaugh just said something very funny and sadly all to true, on his morning minuet call "Your Morning Rush"..... He said why doesn't Al Jazeera just buy the New York times and make it official!!!. My response to Fox News Report about President Bush's surprise to Iraq and to their request for us readers to tell them what we would say if we were the President of the United States: Dear Iraq and it's wonderful people, I represent the MAJORITY of the American People and We will do what ever it takes to help You create and maintain a Free Government and to help others countries in this area do the same. The World is a better place when People are free to exercise their God Given Freedom. Keep on being good, President of the United State. I go to Eloy for a nice Home Teaching Visit with Jack and Eva Haines. We visit for a long time and they are feeling good, today. Then I have a nice visit with Sonya and she says she will be coming to church, on Sunday, if someone can pick her up and take her. I go to TA to visit Jennifer Proctor but she is not on duty today. |
June 2006 .................... Wednesday Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert. I do a lot of things including chop weeds, edge the grass along Johnson's Fence, Call ADOR and leave a message, Filing. Then I go to Casa Grande where I mail a set of Computer Speakers to Tiffany, shirts to laundry, food from 7/11, Clerk work in the Clerk's Office. Bishop Cozart comes in at Noon and has me make out a check for someone in need. I call Sister Brimhall to let her know that Marilee is working and cannot take Megan to Mutual tonight. I talk to Steve Hill about the letter he sent me about Eloy's attempt to annex us. I learned that his Father and his brothers own and operate Arizona Sky Dive. I ask if he is hiring Pilots? He said they are almost always hiring pilots but his brother Sean handles that. I get a tarp and stakes and bungees then move the boxes of my journal onto pallets and stretch a tarp over them. I talk to Vonage about what to expect when our number [520-466-4108] is moved from Qwest to Vonage, tomorrow. Mary said that before that happens, when someone calls 4108 it will ring the phone via Qwest - after that happens, when somecalls 4108 it will ring the phone via Vonage. The person calling will not know the difference. After the transfer takes place the dial tone will cease to work on the Qwest line. Of course we already have a dial tone on the Vonage phone because Vonage has assigned us the Virtual Number [520-413-2889] and our voice mail is already working there. At 06:20pmMST Melissa leaves for Mutual at Davenport's. |
June 2006 .......................................... Thursday 520-466-4108 was switched over from Qwest to Vonage. The Qwest dial tone will keep working till midnight then tomorrow that will be gone. Happy Birthday to Sister Eva Haines, a wonderful Sister in the Arizona City Ward that Ray Donaldson and I home teach. Marilee and I go to Temple today. It was a wonderful experience. First we go to Casa Grande and was the Malibu. Then to Home Depot where we get a Uniden Cordless Phone [DCT756] with three handsets. When we get to Mesa we first of all go to Dr. Suresh because Marilee is having trouble with a Root Canal that was done. When we go to the Temple we eat first. The food is GREAT, as usual. For the Session Marilee and I get to be the Witness Couple. This was the most sparsely attended Temple Session I can remember. After the Temple Session we look at Window Awnings at Mimi's by Lowes in Chandler then get Fries and Shakes at In and Out. I hook up the Uniden Cordless Phones and they work just fine. Marilee and Melissa go to town to get some groceries. |
June 2006 ................................................ Sunday Happy Birthday to Tiffany Hansen, born this day in 1972 Happy Birthday to Matthew Eyring, born this day in 1990 Happy Birthday to Sariah Dorian, born this day in 1997 I drove to Donaldson's where I picked up Ray and we then went to the Church for Bishopric Meeting. We did this so Sally Jo will have their Pickup to go and Pickup Sonya and take her to Church. Turned out that Sonya had a sick child and could not go to church today.............. Marilee and Gaia and I sat together in Sacrament Meeting. I did not get there till after the Sacrament was served, because I was helping 4th Branch with their Membership Computer. During Church I called Jack/Eva Haines because they were not there. Jack was just not up to it today. After Church I drove to Haines and gave them one of the "Big Hunk" candy bars that we passed out to the Fathers today. After a wonderful dinner, by Marilee, while holding Gaia, we did a skype with Ann, in North Carolina. That went well and Ann got to see Gaia for the first time. I called Sariah and wished her a Happy Birthday. We had a nice talk I was so tired that I went to bed early. then Melissa brought me the phone because I had a call from Darren saying Happy Father's Day. I loved that. Also while I had Darren, on the phone, in Utah, I wished a Happy Birthday to Matthew. then I saw I had a message from Hank so I called him and he wished me Happy Father's Day. I loved that. then I saw I had a message from Levi so I called him and he wished me a Happy Father's Day. I loved that. then I called tiffany to wish her Happy Birthday and she wished me Happy Father's Day. I loved that. tiff and I talked for a long time and it was good then I called My Father and wished him a Happy Father's Day. I loved that. He had been to April's and Murr was there. Good to hear from Murr after such a long time. |
June 2006 .................. Monday I go to Clerk's Office and do some work, including the ordering of a toner cartridge for the new Brother Printer/FAX/Copier that we now have in the Office. I take the bad WebCam back to Radio Shack but they do not have one to replace it with so they order one!! I go to CAIID and order water for Friday. Melissa spends the day playing, again. I put another fusee into an active Gopher Hole!!! I cut open both of the failed Well Pressure tanks. they are ugly inside!!! the faild diaphram one was not actually a ruptured diaphram, the diaphram had just come loose and was floating around in the tank!! tank was full of rust and gunk. In the other thank the diaphram was still tight and holding air but the liner, below the diaphram, has lossened and was letting water get between it and the metal tank. I am sure glad we replaced these tanks and I wish we had done so a year ago. |
June 2006 ...................... tuesday Marilee goes to work in Mesa and I go to work in Paradise. I verify presure and condition of all 5 tires on the Hyundai. I verify Liquid Level, including battery, and I added oil to the Engine. At 8:30am Melissa leaves for Yuma. |
June 2006 ........................................... Wednesday Happy Birthday to Soleil Lara, born this day in 1986. |
June 2006 ...................................... Thursday Happy Birthday to Jared Eyring, born this day in 1988 I called and talked to Jared and wished him a happy birthday today. We had a good talk. I think I heard him say more words, today, than I have ever heard him say in his whole life!! I loved it and I look forward to more of it. Marilee and I got some materials and then closed in the South Pasture so we can turn Blase loose in there. We closed of the East end by dragging the Pipe Panel Corral across there and hooking it to the now existing wood fence. We tended Gaia today, while Bridgette worked. |
June 2006 .................... Friday Melissa is gone to Yuma, visiting with Levi, today. Marilee and I irrigate Paradise today. It went good. CAIID turned the water to us at 06:30amMS then turned it off at 01:00pmMSt. the ditch is so full of weeds that we had to run the water an extra 3 hours. the County will NO issue a burn permit because the fire danger is extremely high at this point. So we had run the water through the weeds!! We watered all of the pasture and that is good because it was getting very dry and it was not growing. Marilee and I celebrated our successful irrigation by going out to eat at Flying J. I called Matt Davenport and learned that we are not getting a load of straw from Lamoreaux's next monday. |
June 2006 .............. Saturday Melissa returns from Yuma today. Good to see her again. Marilee and I go pickup Gaia so Bridgette can go to work. We stop at the Massey-Fergusen store and look at tractors. We need one though we can't afford one, yet. I go to Home teach 3 of my families and none of them are home!! Maybe tomorrow?? I put up some more chicken wire on the east cube, getting ready to cover it with Stucco. |
June 2006 ................... Sunday I went to the Clerk's office in time to do some catch up work before the Bishopric meeting at 7amMST. Karl Hunt, the Stake Membership Auditor, was there for the purpose of setting up our Membershp Audit this week. After talking to the Bishop I was informed that our Membership Clerk is Out of Town for a couple of weeks so I went ahead and scehculed our Membership Audit for next Tuesday I will be there for that Ward Council went well today and, again, it was a pleasure to sit next to the Young Women's President, Marilee Eyring.....I like that!! After church I went Home Teaching. Jacque Guerrero was not there, but Troy Nichols was there and I had a really nice visit with him. |
June 2006 ........................................ Monday Happy Birthday to Jacque Gerrero, born this day in 1982. I stopped at the John Deere Store and gathered some information on their tractors and implements. I did a lot or work at the Clerk's Office. I went to Jacque's house to tell her happy birthday, but she was not there so I left a note that I had been there. |
June 2006 ................... Tuesday We had a meeting with Marilee, Melissa, Myself about Melissa going to the Stake Girls Camp today. That did NOT go well at all. Very bad experience for all involved. Even though it was a bad experience it was an essential meeting about what is really going on. Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert. At 10am I meet with the Stake Membership Auditor, Karl Hunt, at the Arizona City Ward Clerk's Office. He conducts the Membership Audit. It goes OK but not perfect. When he was done I wrote up a report of what happened and what is needed and gave copies to the Membership Clerk and the Bishop. I put more stucco wire on the outside of the East Cube. |
June 2006 ........................ Wednesday Marilee goes to work at Desert Banner. I put more of the Stucco wire on the outside of the East Cube. I ran out of staples and will have to get more before I can finish. |
June 2006 ...................... Thursday Marilee, Melissa and Myself drive the Malibu to "Zion's Camp" today. We stop in Tucson to get some things from Brent then at Burger King for Lunch. We arrive at Zion's Camp, up on Mt. Lemmon, about 3pm. It is soooo cool up there!! All the Pines and Cool air and our wonderful Arizona City Ward Young Women. We have a wonderful visit and we don't leave till 11pm, after all the programs and assemblies and supper and treats and a very spiritual Testsimony meeting in the Campsite of our YW. President Gibson was there and conducted a wonderful session about the temple and it's importance in our lives. Morris Cooper and his "Cowboy Campfires" was doing the food, for the Camp. It was great to visit with Morris and remember so many events and people from the years past. Morris is retiring and this is the last "Cowboy Campfire" he is doing. After this he is turning it over to his son, Jeff. Morris has been doing this for 28 years. My how the time flys!! Sister Cozart and Sister Davenport and Sister Lamoreaux and Sister Doughty and Bishop Cozart and President Walton are there for the whole week of camp. We [Marilee, Melissa, Myself] and the Grovers and the Donaldsons are there just for today. It takes 2 hours each direction and we arrive, back in paradise, at about 1amMST. |
June 2006 .................. Friday Marilee and I work on the entrance to our house. We go to Casa Grande to get some needed materials to fix the awning. I call Bishop Lannon - Casa Grande 1st Ward - and Learn that Royce's Last name is Bruno and that he parents live at 116 W. 9th St. in Casa Grande [836-5341]. I then drive to that address and find that Jacque Guerrero is there so I am able to Home Teach her. She is fine. Isaac is in California with his father, at this time. |
