01 July 2006 ............... Saturday Marilee gone to work at Banner Desert Today. |

09 July 2006 ................. Sunday I go pickup Ray Donaldson and take him to the church with me. That way sister Donaldson will have the car so she can go pick up Sonya and bring her to church. As it turns out when Sister Donaldson got there Sonya was on the way to visit her mother and did not go to church with Sister Donaldson. At the church, Ray and I attended Bishopric Meeting then PEC the Sacrament Meeting. After the Block Marilee and I interviewed for renewal of our Temple Recommends. Then I help Les Gover do the Donations and the deposit. It went well and I then went home to eat and visit with my beloved wife, Marilee. |

10 July 2006 ............... Monday Happy Birthday Sara Marilee goes to work. I take down Bridgette's Antenna from the West Cube, so I can return it to Bridgette. I call Sara, on the phone, and tell her happy birthday. She likes that. Our power goes out from 7am till 9am. When I go to town I get shirts from Comet Cleaners then gas from Albertsons then take Antenna to Bridgette. I don't get to see Bridgette but I do get to see John and Gaia. I then work at the Clerk's Office till time to see Dr. Gonda at 2pm. I have to see him because my left ear is still infected even though I have been through 2 full treatments of Amoxicillin!!! Dr. Gonda now prescribes Cipro which I then go to Walgreens to get. More work at Clerk's Office. Next I drive to Arizona City and get the 40foot trailer from Davenport's. On the way to Paradise I stop for a visit with Jack and Eva Haines in Eloy. Then I pick up the trash that someone had thrown out on LaPalma. At home, in Paradise, I eat supper, read "Jesus the Christ" and work on this journal. |

11 July 2006 ................ Tuesday Melissa returns from Salt Lake City Marilee goes to work at Banner Desert and I go to work irrigating Paradise. It goes well and we have a good irrigation. Also I put another bag of Stucco on the East Cube. Also I mow the grass, but not all of it. When Marilee comes home this evening she has Melissa with her. We have a nice long visit and bring each other up to date on the things that have been happening. |

14 July 2006 .............. Friday Happy Birthday Austin I called Austin and told him "Happy Birthday". |

15 July 2006 ............. Saturday Happy Birthday Emily I did not get to bed till 5am this morning. I was itching so badly, last night, I could not sleep!! Up and atem at 8:30am. I called Emily and told her "Happy Birthday". The fighting is really bad in Israel right now. Looks like it will be the end, but, I have thought that several times in the last 30 years, so, we shall see. I got the Polaris running. I finished the Brake job yesterday, then finished the starter repair today. The started works so good now I think I could just drive the polaris around on the starter motor!! BUT I did not do that. [smile] I gave it a test drive and it works really well. We have Gaia this afternoon and through the night. Melissa goes to work today, returning about about 5pm. Ray Donaldson brought over to big I beams, that I can use for a Drag. He just gave them to me. WOW, thanks Ray!! Murr and Kurt come to visit us, arriving at about 6pm. We have a really nice visit and Murr, Kurt and Myself go to supper at Flying J. We bring back to Marilee and Melissa some Cheese Cake. |
| 16 July 2006 ................ Sunday I get to the Clerk's Office at about 6am. I get ready for Bishopric meeting at 7am. After Bishopric Meeting there is PEC. I get to sit by Marilee during Sacrament Meeting, and I like that. The talks were about getting out of debt. I needed that. John Bissell gives the lesson in High Priest's Group and that was good. I stand in the Circle as Brother Poecker is set apart as a High Priest Group Instructor. After church I bring Gaia home while Marilee goes to Youth Executive Coundil. Gaia and I get a long just fine and I almost have her asleep by the time Marilee gets home. Ray Donaldson picks me up, here in Paradise, and we go home teacing. We go first to the DeAnn Lara Family where we go through the books of Ezra, Nehmiah, Ester, Job, in our efforts to get all the way through the Bible this year. After that we go to visit Troy Nichols but he is not there. Only one there is a friend of Wyatt's. Then we have a nice visit with Jennifer Proctor, at her home. She is doing well and is planning to move to Casa Grande. As always, it is a pleasure to spend some time with Ray Donaldson. Melissa and Marilee go to a youth fireside at the Stake Center. |

17 July 2006 ................ Monday Marilee goes to work. Melissa goes to play, I go to work, first in Paradise then at the Clerk's Office. Lot to do there and I do not get done. I get some needed bolts and a trailer hitch pint from Fred's Bolts. I get our 2005 income tax returns from H&H, Carianne Weston. We are going to get a refund from the State. Wah Hoooo. I give to Carianne the information I have received from the State Auditor, about our 2002 Income taxes. She is going to see if she can get us a better deal. I get a tail light, for 40' trailer, from Pep Boys. |

18 July 2006 ................ Tuesday Marilee goes to work in Mesa, I go to work in Paradise, Melissa does not go to work. I get the ADOR Income taxes for 2005 signed and into the mail because we are getting a refund!! |

19 July 2006 ............... Wednesday Marilee and Melissa are both home today. Also we have Gaia today. After I put a drive belt on the AC Compressor, on the Silverado, and get the RF tire repaired [it had a nail in it], we drive to Apache Lake to check it out for the upcoming Youth Outing there. We leave the Malibu at the Stake Center and then We gas up the Silverado at Safeway in Casa Grande we take I10 to L202 to Power Road to Apache Trail to Apache Lake Resort. We go out on a Pontoon Boat and search for good campsites along the shoreline of Apache Lake. Then we drive back to Paradise via Apache trail to Roosevelt to Miami to Superior to Florence Junction to Florencee to Leaning Tower of Pizza to Coolildge to Paradise. At paradise we pause just long enough to get the Barbie Dolls out of the Hyundai then on to the Stake Center for Mutual. Marilee and Melissa go into the Building for Mutual while I take Gaia home to Bridgette and John's place. Bridgette at work at Denny's but John is there and is happy to see Gaia. Back at the Building and the Clerk's Office, Tom Mitchell brings in some ads for used tractors. We talk about tractors then about leveling land then about Israel/Lebanon. After Mutual Mutual rides with me and we take the Brimhall girls [Megan and Anber] home then return to paradise Shortly thereafter Marilee arrives with a pizza from Little Cesaers. |

20 July 2006 ................... Thursday HAPPY BIRTHDAY -- Lindsay Eyring Marilee and I have a nice day here in paradise, then we east supper at FlyingJ in Eloy. |

21 July 1006 .................... Friday Marilee and Melissa and I are here today. Marilee cuts down weeds until the Lawn Mower quits. I find the Story about my 2nd Great Grandmother, Rebecca Culey Langman, and her experience crossing the plains with the Willie Handcart Company. The Relief Society wants it for the upcoming Celebration of the Hand Cart Companies and the 24th of July. I repair the Lawn Mower then cut down more weeds. |

22 July 2006 ....................... Saturday At Clerk's Office by 7am. I do clerk work. Many people there, at the building for Building Cleaning and for RS work day. Nice about that is they invite me to eat with them, at noon. I liked that!! I keep clerking, mostly doing pre-audits, till about 4pm. I go to paradise and change then go to Bishop's house for Ward 24th of July Celebration. There is lots of food and lots of people. the pool is full of people. I have nice visits with just about everyone. |

23 July 2006 .................. Sunday Up at 4am, at Clerk's office by 6am. Bishopric Meeting at 7am, PEC at 8am, Ward Council at 9am, Sacrament Meeting at 11am. I teach lesson in High Priest's Group at 1pm, after John Bissell is set apart as a counselor in the group. Home Teaching visit with Richard Hardy and Scott Webster, in the High Council Room, right after church [Marilee and Melissa are both at work today]. Home for lunch then to Jack and Eva Haines because the A/C has gone out. They go to the Quality Inn for the evening. Home Teaching to Troy Nidhols but he is not there. Back to Clerk's Office for catch up work and help Bishop Cozart and pre-audit of May. Back home to wash dishes while Melissa watches TV. I do get rained on, a little bit, on the way home. By the time Marilee gets home, after 9pm, I am in bed. |

24 July 2006 ................ Monday Pioneer Day Marilee goes to work in Mesa, I go to work in Paradise. |

26 July 2006 .................. Wednesday Marilee works today and then goes to visit with Rebecca after that. I spend most of the day working in the Clerk's Office then in the evening I help 4th branch, Steve Brandt, to get ready for the upcoming Audit. President Cobos comes into the Clerk's Office, of 4th Branch, and we had a lot of discussion about a lot of things. Much pain and suffering, this evening, because of Melissa's behaviour and Attitude. |

27 July 2006 .................. Thursday Lots of rain this morning!!! At about 8am as I was driving north on LaPalma to go to doctor Gonda, I was running the WW on their highest speed. After some phone calls, about the weather, present and forecast, Bishop Cozart and President Eyring cancelled tomorrow watering skiing at Canyon Lake. So then I had to contact Steve Brandt and cancel with him because he was taking his boat up there for us. I did a lot of work at the Clerk's Office, gasses the Silverado, got the 2002 State taxes from Carianne Weston, H&H, go the needed things to change oil in the Hyundai and Malibu. In the evening Marilee and I drove aound on the local road to see how bad the flooding is. It is bad and the County was busily setting up "Road Closed" signs on almost all roads around here. |

28 July 2006 .................. Friday Gaia is here with us this morning. Instead of going to Canyon Lake for Water Skiing with the youth, as we had planned, We [Marilee, Gaia, Myself] went for a drive in the Silverado to see how much damage has been done by the Storm yesterday and forcasted to continue today. La Palma is flowing with water, especially from Battaglia to Houser. Water is running across Hanna and Cornman and then under Selma. Probably a good idea we did not go to the lake today. |

29 July 2006 .................. Saturday Very Humid these days with lots of rain clouds around. I put on two bags of Stucco today, on the East Cube, with Marilee helping on the second one. We go over to Brimhall's to help with an AC problem but turns out they don't need help so we just had a good visit. |

30 July 2006 .................. Sunday Up at 4am, at Clerk's Office by 6am. Bishopric Meeting at 7am. PEC at 9am. Church at 11am. I had an appointment with Florence Ward at 1pm but I wanted so much to be in our church for the whole block, that I postponed Florence till tomorrow at 7am. Marilee and I have Gaia during Church. After church I have a nice Hometeaching visit with Troy Nichols. Marilee and Melissa and I spend the evening together. |

31 July 2006 ................... Monday Marilee went to work, I went to Florence to help the 1st Ward, Melissa went to play. On my way back from Florence I found that I can now drive north on LaPalma, deep water, but now shallow enough to drive through. I checked out the John Deer Tractor we saw working the other evening and it is a Model 8130. I put one bag of stucco on the East Cube. I got the mix way to this, but I did not have any more of the Dry so I put in on anyhow. Should be OK. I do a lot of work on the Computer. for Family Home Evening we [Marilee, Melissa, Wendell Jr.] meet on our bed and Marilee reads to us from "A Special Treasure" about the 10 Commandments in general and the 1st Commandment in specific. I love the Gospel!! |
