01 December 2006 ................... Friday |
|
02 December 2006 ............. Saturday I attend the Well Agreement Meeting, at the Well, with David Pierson and Chris Gurr. I it a good meeting and lots of things were discussed and some things were agreed upon. Then I went to Casa Grande Stake Center to help out with DI Remote, going on there today. |

03 December 2006 ...................... Sunday Taco Sunday After church I go to Taco Sunday at Darren/Julie's. It was great. We watch the First Presiency Christmas Devotional and that was great also. Marilee and Melissa attend the First Presiency Christmas Devotional at the Casa Grande Stake Center. |

04 December 2006 ................... Monday Happy BIRHDAY A N N Marilee and I take a Sitz Bath to Sister Mitchell. We go to Wal*Mart where we get oil/filter/wiper blades for the Malibu. When we get home I change oil/filter/wiper blades on the Malibu. I go with Chris Gurr to Stockmen's Bank in Coolidge where we creat new signature cards that include him. I do a lot Area Auditor work today..................... |

05 December 2006 ....................... Tuesday Marilee gone to work today. I check the gopher trap and WaLaaa, I caught the pesky persistant gopher that has been working between the tool crib and Oreo's cage!! I do a lot of Area Auditor work today................ |

07 December 2006 ................. Thursday Pearl Harbor it is important that we remember "Pearl Harbor" AND it is important that we remember "911" Happy Birthday to my son Rob Haack I mailed, to SLC, my area auditor expenses so far. Marilee is at work and I am in Paradise working on area auditor stuff. |

08 December 2006 ................ Friday Marilee to work today. I finish sending out the notices about Exception #21. |

09 December 2006 .................... Saturday Stake conference today. I attended the meeting at 4pm and at 7pm. Marilee was there with me for the 7pm Meeting. It was great!! Then we came home and spent the evening with Melissa. |

10 December 2006 .................. Sunday Stake Conference today. this may be the BEST Stake Conferences, ever! Marilee and Melissa and I went to the Christmas Dinner at the DeAnn Lara home. We loved it. Great food and great company. Good times for all. |

Monday Timothly Lance Eyring was born on this day in 1960 Happy Birthday T I M I called Tim to tell him happy birthday but could only leave a message which I did - I sang "Happy Birthday" to him. 12 December 2006 ......................... Tuesday Happy Birthday to Joshua Micha Smith Happy Birthday to Sofia Annabelle Haack I had a nice talk with Joshua today, for his birthday. I tried and failed, just like on Rob's birthday, to call Ann/Rob/Sofia. Someday I will figure out how to call them.... |

13 December 2006 .................... Wednesday I did a lot of Area Auditor work today. Many phone calls and many e-mails. I hooked up a power wire, on the 40 foot trailer, from the pickup plug in to the Inverter that I use for the Christmas Lights. Getting ready for Christmas Caroling and Hayrides with the Institute and the Mutual. Also I had to fasten down some of the floor boards that are curling up. |

14 December 2006 .................. Thursday HAPPY Anniversary to Wendell and Marilee Married this day in 1991 Fifteen(15) years ago We will celebrate our anniversary on Saturday, just too busy today. |

16 December 2006 ......................... Saturday Marilee and I go eat breakfast at Flying J. Breakfast Buffet and it was really good!! Then we gas up the Silverado, right there at Flying J, even there was a long line and a long wait!! We then drove south on Sunshine all the way to a running river that we found there that we did not even know existed! Next we travel east along Baumgartner, just a trail at that point, till we come to Picacho Rd. then north to Curtis and then back to the west. From Curtis we turn south on Eleven Mile Corner Road and then we cross the river, water being about 6 inches deep. Big farm over there but no place to go so we come north, back accross the river to Curtis. Next we go south on Toltec, all the way to the river but cannot cross it so we go west along the north back, all the way to Sunland Gin Road. < Next we go to south end of Sunland Gin road to it's end then take trail out to where the Trek Base Camp is going to be. We come back to Sunland Gin then go west to Silverbell Estates and go to see Brian and Maria's "Rammed Earth" home that they are building. We then go back to Arizona City and take a look at the Rammed Earth home of Meadow and Efran Cortez. We take Alsforf across to the IGA Market in Eloy where we get a few things and go back to Paradise. We rest a bit then go eat dinner at Serrano's in Chandler. Very good Mexican Food!! We finish up the day by going Emily and Jessica's Dance Recital at Hank/Michelle's Stake Center. Dancing in the recital are Emily, Jessica, Lindsay, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly. It is great and we love it. We finish off the day by driving back to Paradise. Be it ever so humble, there is no place like home. What a nice Anniversary...We loved it. |

18 December 2006 .............................. Monday I spent the morning trying to get Transcend Broadband turned back on. After much fussing with them I leaned that they had turned it off because for nonpayment on my Monthly Fee. then after much fussing with them I proved that I have paid my monthly bill!! So they turned it back on!!! |

22 December 2006 ..................... Friday For me, this is Christmas Eve............. Well, tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd is the Eyring Get together,here in Paradise. The 24th is Sunday so no Christmas Shopping then!! Monday the 25th is Christmas and it is then too late. I am behind and I gotta get outta here!!!! |

26 December 2006 ........................ Tuesday For those of you who read this Journal, on a regular basis, I apologize for being slow about writing herein. It seems that for the last month or two, I am do busy doing things that I am not taking the time to write about the things I do. Also I want you to know that the most important reason I do write in here is that I want you to know that "I love the Gospel". I want you to know that "I love my Family" I want you to know that you cannot seperate the two!! Without My Family, I am not living the Gospel. With out the Gospel I will lose my family because with the Gospel and the Principles and Ordinances contained therein I know I will be a lone and seperate being thoughout the eternities. I cannot have you, my beloved family, beyond the grave and for me the grave is getting very close. [I am not announcing any killer disease, I am just being realistic -- people die in their eighties and I am in my late sixties!!] I want so very much for My Family to 1) Learn, Live, Like -- The commandments of God, 2) Follow the Prophet, 3) Choose the right. That is the only way I can have my family and my family can have me beyond this very short, very temporary, Earth Life. PLEASE -- be farsighted, look beyond this life, look to God. He has provided the Plan, the Way, Exhaltation in the Celestial Kingdom where we can have all that he has, where we can and ought to enjoy the exceedingly great happiness and joy that he enjoys. He created this earth and everything that we can see, hear, feel, smell, sense and he did it for the very purpose of giving us the opportunity to become as he is. I testify that this is true. I know it, I know it, I know it. You can check with me 5 years from now, 25 years from now, 125 years from now, 11111111111125 years from now and I will tell you the same "God Lives and he restored HIS Gosple, [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints] [the same gospel that was had by Adam and Enoch and Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus Christ] to this earth for the express purpose of giving us the opportunity of becoming like him and having our beloved families for ever more." I know what you WANT!! You want to be happy. You want to have Joy!!! I also know how you can have what you want and have it eternally!! 1) Learn, Live, Like -- The commandments of God, 2) Follow the Prophet, 3) Choose the right I am aware that not all of you who read this, believe me. But think about this - even if I am wrong, doing these things > 1) Learn, Live, Like -- The commandments of God, 2) Follow the Prophet, 3) Choose the right, is still a better way to live. Even if life ends at death and there is nothing beyond that. What I am recommending is still a better way to live. Take the time to learn all about the Church and about Jesus and his Father, Our Eternal Father in Heaven, and then live by what they recommend and you will have a better life. So you then have a better life NOW and there is the extra payoff that IF I AM RIGHT you will have that better life for ever more. Talk about WIN WIN. I alway like a deal where I win either way it goes. Think about this also. As we look over the life that we have lived, already, we both know there have been some bad things and some bad times and some sad times. We hope those don't happen again, don't we. Well they need not have happened at all!! Life does not have to be this hard!!! We make it this hard when we do NOT follow the Prophet, when we do NOT Choose the Right. Sometimes I hear people say "Well how do you know what is right?" "Well how can you say what is right?" "OH My, you are being judgemental even suggesting there is such a thing as right and wrong" Let me tell you the way to tell between right and wrong! 1) Turn off the TV 2) Read the Scriptures 3) Go to church Pretty soon you will KNOW right from wrong, you will be able to take a stand for the right because it will be so clear in your mind. I suggest that the reverse is also true: If you 1) Watch TV 2) Do NOT read the scriptures 3) Do NOT go to church You cannot tell right from wrong and probably don't even believe there is any right or wrong. I testify to you that there is RIGHT and there is WRONG. Right comes from Jesus Christ Wrong comes from Lucifer I suggest that you know each of them and what rewards they each have waiting for you if you follow them. Then you will follow Jesus Chist, receive his rewards and that is what I have been talking about!! I love you I want you, not as the world wants you, I want you in my Family for ever more, and I know that FAMILIES CAN BE and OUGHT to be FOREVER. Read the Proclamation. 28 December 2006 ..................... Thursday I went to Mesa to help Dad with Clerking at the Udall Ward. Then we attended the Ray Cousins Party which was also at the Udall Building. There were a lot of the Ray Cousins there and I had a good visit with them. I expected Tim to show up with Angela and Austin and then I would take them home with me, but they never showed up? |

29 December 2006 ....................... Friday Tim brought Angela and Austin out to spend the day. I took them over to she the flying people at the Eloy Airport. Tim left Angela and Austin here. We saddled up Blase and Orion, put them in the round pen I just built and the changed back and forth from Blase to Orion and rode horses for about 2 hours. It was a great time and I got some great photos. Marilee drove to Gila Bend to get Melissa from Levi. |

30 December 2006 .............................. Saturday I awoke Angela and Austin and drove them to Darren's. Then I went to Dad's and helped him with his Financial Clerk Responsibilities at the Udall Ward Building. It went well and we began some training on how to reconcile the "Other Account". Marilee poured a concrete slab, at our front gate, today. This evening I took Marilee to eat at Flying J. Then we gassed up the Silverado and bought some peaches and cottage cheese for the PotLuck at Darren's tomorrow. |

31 December 2006 ................. Sunday New Years Eve I was at the Clerk's Office before 6amMST. Lots of things to catch up on including making transparencies for my Area Auditor Training session to come. Bishopric Meeting at 7am. Other meetings after that. In Sacrament Meeting they had people from the TREK talk to us. It was wonderful. This trek and the talks about it were some of the most HeartWarming, Testimony Building, Wonderful talks I have ever heard. To hear Cody Lara give his leangthy testimony about the Trek and the Gospel touched me deeply and if I did not before know the gospel is true, I know it NOW!!. I am so thankful for the Gospel and for the Casa Grande Arziona Stake making such strengthing building experiences possible for all of us. I LOVE THE GOSPEL After the meetings, Marilee and I came home for a bit of rest, then we went to Darren's for "Tim is here - Pot Luck Suppere". It was wonderful. I am so thankful to be associated with such a wonderful family. I thank the Lord for My family and I pray he will continue to bless us. Then we received a call that Gaia had fallen and we had to rush home. Gaia was just fine and we need not have rushed home!! |
