06 April 2006 ............................................ Thursday Happy Birthday to Lauren Eyring, born this day in 1998. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint was organized this day in 1830. We went to Lauren's Baptism this evening at the Pueblo Stake Center in Mesa. |

10 April 2006 .................................. Monday I met David Gay at the Florence Ward Clerk's Office and finally, today, we got the Other account and the Monthly statements all balanced throught February 2006. I got the Polaris finishe today. Still is old and tired but the engine is running good. |

11 April 2006 ................................. Tuesday I met John Bissell at the Clerk's Office and we began his orientation to being the Membership Clerk. I did a lot of work at the Clerk's Office, in addition to that. I got some tools and some bolts at Freds Bolts. Shirts at Comet Cleaners. I got a small shipping box at the Post Office. I got the Chain Saw running today. |

13 April 2006 .................................. Thursday Today I had lunch at Dad's. Visiting there was his brother Carl. I had not seen Uncle Carl for a long time and it was a wonderful visit with him and Dad and Pat and Twila and Paul Ray and Christine. |

14 April 2006 ................................. Friday Happy Birthday to Deann Lara, the mother of the wonderful Lara Family that Ray Donaldson and I Home Teach. We were up early and getting ready to meet the Young Women at the Bishop's house for Baptisms for the Dead, at the themple when the temple called to say the Baptism Font is out of service today and so we had to cancel. So Marilee made a lot of phone calls to tell everyone it is cancelled. Then Marilee and I went to Wal*Mart for some shopping. I took Marilee to the corner of Macrae and ViaKiaLynn to show her the hot pump, but it was not running so she could not feel the warm water that comes up out of the ground there Wind The wind blew very stong and just got stronger and stronger as the day went on. The wind was coming from the South West. When we got home I was so tired I had to take a nap. I then worked at the desk till Debbie brought over Hanna, Myrissa, Naomi for horse riding. Then I spent a few hours giving them rides on Blase. Marilee and I took a stray dog to the pound. I change the Oil/Filter in the Malibu. |

15 April 2006 .................................. Saturday TAX DAY Marilee went to work at Banner Desert today. Melissa slept till noon then spent till 4 getting ready to go see Bridgette. I repaired the Polaris including recovering the seat and adjusting the oil pump linkage and putting the skid plate on, rode Blaze for a long time, fed the horses, repaird the cooler water leak, reset the gopher traps, did MUCH work on www.wendelleyring.com, responded to Marilee's e-mails, chopped many weeds, unloaded the Silverado, washed and dried and put away a lot of clothes and towles, received the small hose clamps from FedEx, made payment to Stockmen's Bank for the Well Agreement. Makes me tired just writing about it all!!! |

20 April 2006 ................................. BLACK Thursday I fell off Orion and boy does that hurt - a lot!! Orion shied, as he often does, the Saddle Cinch Broke, and I went onto the ground, landing on my backside. Describing the pain would be useless because I would never get close, with words, to what my body is feeling...... |

20 April 2006 .................................. Thursday As I was getting on Orion to ride him inside the pen, My hat blew off and that spooked him, before I was on. I was just standing in the left stirrup trying to bet my right foot over for the right stirrup. I had leaned way over him as I was doing this because the saddle had turned around him and was about to go off on the left side. So My hat blew off, on the right side, right in his face. He spooked, moving quickly to the left. The Cinch broke to the saddle and me went flying off to the right side!! I landed on the ground, thankfully soft ground, on my but, meaning I had done a complete flip over my head and onto my but. That HURT a lot!!! The saddle settled around Orion's rear feet on his right side. since the Lead rope and the reigns were fasted to both his nose and the saddle, his head was being pulled to his left and back near his back. The rope and reins were going over his back and down on his right side to the saddle. The end result was that he was just standing there with his head turned back to the left. When I finally quit bawlering and squawlering and got up, I unfastened him from everything and he was OK. Since I was hurt pretty bad and the Cinch was broken, I could not get back on him, but I did put the saddle back on him, tying it with the broken cinch. Then I acted like I was getting on him so he would not get any bad habbits from all of this. I then put him away, made sure the horses were fed, made my way back to the house and told Marilee/Melissa that I had fallen off of Orion. Marilee is working the Prom Dress for Melissa. Brent came to get Bridgette and Melissa and take them to Casa Grande. Bishopric Meeting at 7pm. Attending were Bishop Cozart, Les Grover, Ray Donaldson, Wendell Eyring Jr. To get to sleep at night requires 3 pain pills. |

21 April 2006 ................................. Friday I went to Powell's Feed and Supply and bought some Comple-Mate for the horses....I am hurting to badly to handle bales of hay today I also got new cinchs and stuff for the saddles so as to prevent future accidents. |

27 April 2006 ...................................... Thursday Happy Birthday to Marilee Eyring Happy Day of Birth to Gaia Logan Annabelle Smith I went to Dr. Gonda for a checkup then I walked over to the Hospital where Bridgette was being evaluated to see if it is time for her to give birth. It is. Bridgette was admitted and labor was started. The Doctor found that the baby is now 10 pounds and it is time for Birth. Finally at about 10pm it was decided that the baby will be take via CSection. Gaia weighed a little over 10 pounds and both Bridgette and Gaia were relieved that the delilvery is over with. |
