Darren Rendol Eyring was born this day in 1964. So he is Forty (40) years old now. I called Darren, on the phone, and had a nice talk with him. He is doing fine and he sounds good.
Shari Dorian was born this day in 1970. So he is Thirty Four (34) years old now. I called Shari, on the phone, and had a nice talk with her. She is doing fine and I loved talking to her.
David is at work today. Marilee drove the Malibu to work today.
Melissa rides to Seminary/School with Amanda Johnson, then I bring Melissa home from the Bus stop, at 4:30pmMST.
I put one of the BIG tires that I got from Tom Mitchell, around the Water Pipe UPRIGHT, the south one.
I never saw David today. Marilee went to work at Banner Desert and she drove the Malibu.
Melissa went to Seminary/School with Amanda Johnson.
I burned weeds.

I went to Casa Grande to get food, do clerk work, take shirts to laundry.

I was so tired I had to go to bed before Marilee got home from work.
When Marilee did get home from work I got up and we ate the ribs that I had prepared. We watched "That thing you do" for awhile but I was back in bed befor it was over.
Levi and Bridgette arrived here, from Yuma, at about 9:30pmMST.

I changed the Oil and Filter on the Malibu.
We had a happy birthday song and cake and ice cream for Melissa. Attending were Marilee, Levi, Ann, Rob, Bridgette, Melissa, Myself.
We drove to Kevin/Jinny's for a Birthday Party for Clayton. There was Marilee, Levi, Myself in the Malibu, with me driving. There was Ann, Rob, Bridgette, Melissa in Ann's Car with Ann Driving. Turned out that there was a very bad accident on I-10 at Rigg Road and we were stop and go from 387 to 587 where all traffic was being taken off from I-10. We then left the stream of traffice and went throught San Tan to Gilbert Road then to Kevin/Jinny's.
It was a good time and lots of people there including David who had driven there in the Hyundai.
Afterwards we drove Gilbert Road to 87 then through Coolidge to Paradise. Then Ann and Rob left for Ft. Huachuca.
David is working this morning, so I went home teaching, to the Lara's, at 10:30amMST, by myself. It was a very good visit. Attending were, Sis. Lara, Alicia, Soleil, Cody, Angela but Katie was not there. I was wearing my hearing aids and I could hear everything they said!!!!!
Then I drove to the Church and also Marilee/Melissa drove to the church.
At the end of Sacrament Meeting, Bro. Stewart and My self gave a blessing to Brother Duggins. It was a good, spiritual experience.
Normally Bro. Grover and I can get the Donations done in about 30 to 40 minutes. Today took over 2 hours. LOTS of interuptions.
Marilee and I were able to interview with President Walton and get our Temple Recommends renewed.
After church, Marilee and Melissa went home, to paradise, I drove to Darren's for Taco Sunday.
Dad and Twila were there and we had a wonderful visit. I stayed late, after Dad and Twila had left. Darren had made several CD's of his family and I watched them all.
I arrived home, in Paradise, at about 10pm. Marilee was still up so we had a nice visit before going to bed.
Melissa was born on this day in 1989
Marilee fixes Stawberry Waffels for us this morning. We love it.
Melissa goes to a party, with her friends, from Noon to 5pm.
Marilee and I go exploring the water flow BEFORE it crosses LaPalma.
We drive up towards the Picacho Mountains to where the water comes from. We learn that the water that crosses LaPalma comes from the Picacho Mountains and all the land between here and there. That is a lot of land and could be an awful lot of water if the conditions were just right!!
Irrigation today. It went well, with some overflow going about 10 feet onto Johnson's property.
I took the Polaris and followed the water flow, AFTER, it crosses LaPalma at the "Jump". A large Dike has been built up to force the water to flow West to Sushine then North all the way past Selma, crossing both Hanna and Cornman. I did not follow it past Selma, but I will!!
Marilee and David went to work this morning.
Melissa went, with the Johnsons, to Seminary/School.

I went to Eloy, talked with Sonja, and verified that here Clothes Dryer is still working just fine and she has been able to catch up on WASHING CLOTHES.
I verified that the storm drain, that crosses LaPalma at Erica, dumps into the dirt canal that runs west, on the south side of Tierra Grande, which is between Selma Highway and 287/Florence Blvd..
I took my old Sprint Cell Phone to Radio Shack and verified that I can reinstated the Service for it. I did not do that at this time, just learned I can and what it will cost.
Audit today ..........................
The Auditor, Brother Shea Nieto, came to the clerk's office and Audited the Financial Records of the Arizona City Ward. Attending were Bishop Duane Cozart and his Counselor Les Grover and the Financial Clerk Wendell Haws Eyring Jr.
The audit went well, with NO errors of any kind!!!! [yeah]
Commander in Chief
Seems to be a lot of things being said about the Military Service of the Candidates for the next "Commander in Chief"
Are you aware that John Kerry served, in Viet Nam, for four(4) months.
George W. Bush served, in the National Guard for four(4) years.
The people [about sixty(60) of them, so far] who served with and commanded John Kerry, in his extremely SHORT tour of duty, have said and are saying, IN PRINT, that John Kerry did a lousy job and had to be closely supervised.
The people who served with and commanded George W. Bush, are saying that George W. Bush, served way above and beyond what he was required to do, flew many many more hours than a pilot was required to do, was an accompolished pilot, was a good and capable leader.
What troubles me is that so much energy is being spent on their service record that it is taking attention off from the real problem with John Kerry ............ What he did when he got back from Viet Nam!!!
He betrayed his fellow Servicemen AND his country.
He, John Kerry, should have been tried as a traiter to the United States of America
He is indeed a WAR HERO .................................. for the North Vietnamese
He aided and abated the enemy.

911 EVE
Tomorrow is 3(three) years since the day that changed my life, the day that America received it's worst attack EVER. I was soooo glad, that day, and in the following days, that we had George W. Bush for our President and sooooo thankful that we did NOT have AlGore for our President.
Orion got loose this morning ............ just slipped the rope over his head. He was wandering around over near LaPalma, but never did get on it. As I walked towards him, he did not see me until I whistled and got his attention. Then he saw me and walk over to me. I put the rope back around his neck, making it a bit tighter this time.
David was not here this morning. Marilee drove the Malibu to work. Melissa went to Seminary/School with Amanda Johnson.
I replace a burned out bulb, for the License Plate, on the Hyundai.
I fastened in the License Plate Light, the socket was falling out, on the Silverado.
I spent about four(4) hours at the Clerk's Office working on the July Statement but did not finish getting it totally balanced.
I picked up Melissa, at Lester's, about 4:45pmMST and brought her home to paradise.

Melissa takes a nap and I go to the Clerk's Office and bring the financial records up to day.
I am listening to kfyi - 550 - as they REMEMBER 911/01, the worst attack on the USA ever and the day that "radical" Islam made itself know for what it is - Satan personified.
I remember - 911/01:
I was at work at Calence, Inc., in Tempe. I was not on regular duty, in the NOC, because I was taking some training hours that had been offered by Calence. So Joe was on duty in the NOC and I was in the LAB, training. I took a break and walked into the NOC where Joe had the TV running. There was a tall building with smoke billowing out of the windows. I did not know what building it was nor what had happened. I noticed that there was at least one other tall building nearby but it was not smoking. Joe mentioned that apparently an airplane had hit the building, but he did not mention much more. I went back to work in the LAB.
A few minutes later I was back in the NOC and Joe said that apparently it was a big airplane that had hit the tall building. A big airplane? I started paying closer attention after that, big airplanes don't hit tall buildings!!
A little later when I was in the NOC Joe said that another airplane had hit another building and sure enough, as I looked at the TV there were two tall buildings smoking. I then became aware that I was looking at the World Trade Center.
Gradually I became aware that this was an intentional attack on the World Trade Center. I did not go back into the LAB for further work!! I stayed and watched, in horror, at what was happening. Then there were reports, then pictures, of an attack on the Pentagon. Then there was a report of an Airliner down somewhere in PA. Very confusing, very horrible. I gradually became aware that this was rush hour and/or go to work time in New York City. There were probably 10's of thousands of people in or around the World Trade Center. This was the worse thing to happen in my lifetime. Terrorism?? It must be, what else could it be?
As the truth was settling upon my mind, we had probably just been attacked by "radical" Islam, El Quiada, Osama, whatever ..................... I thought "Thank you Bill Clinton" and all who support that Liberal Line of Reasoning ............ you have just, in the last few years, weakened our Military, our CIA, our position in the World and now they are attacking us. "Thanks a LOT".
I was so thankful, at that moment that AlGore had NOT been elected President.
I learned in the months to come that we had the RIGHT man in the White House, George W. Bush. Osama and Saddam also learned that we had the RIGHT man in the White House. No Mogadishu "Blackhawk Down" scenerio here.
We got up, pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and began to kick butt and we are still kicking butt today. After we give President Bush a MANDATE, next November, we are going to do some real BUTT kicking on the Terrorists and all who harbor and/or support the terrorist in any way.
I still, today, find it so sad and even shocking that NON "radical" Islam had been silent about 911 and apparently support the continuing HORRIBLE actities of "radical" Islam terrorist.
Satan has made many efforts, since Adam, to take away our agency and some have gone far and this seems to be one of them. But we must not become too concentrated on any one of Satans thrusts and as a result ignore the other thrusts, such as Communism, Socalism, Liberalism, unmarried sex, homosexuality, Child abuse, Spouse abuse, destruction of the family, selfishness, pessimism, lack of Charity, failing to help our neighbor, failing to worship God, failing to Learn, Live, Like the commandments of God.

At 7pm I listen to the 911 special that KFYI [550] broadcasts from 7 to 8. Really good and sure did help me to remember. It was a whole lot of sound bytes from the Controller initial communication to and about the hijacked airliners to speaches and comment made last year at the 2 year anniversary.
I begin this day at 12:01amMST, right here at the computer, because I cannot sleep???
David is not here this morning.
Marilee, Melissa and Myself take the Malibu to Casa Grande and attend the Arizona City Ward at 12 Noon. Levi calls, from Yuma, to tell us he is going to marry a girl named Jennifer.
Then he broke my heart when he informed us that she is not a member of the church and they will not be married in the temple.
Sharon and Richard Hardy come to visit us. Visiting and Home Teaching combined.
Marilee, Melissa, Myself walk nextdoor to the Johnsons for a visit because David who had an injured left ankle has now injured his right ankle. Bad situation to be in.
Marilee and David do not go to work today. Marilee take Melissa to Seminary/School.
I cleaned up my foot/ankle brace and took it over to the Johnson's. Just left it on the front door step, no use making someone walk to the front door, so I just left it there to see if it will help David.
We now have a Roadrunner, bird, that is spending time in our Pasture and around our House. I like that. He is interesting to watch and he is constantly eating bugs!!
For Family Home Evening we had Marilee read from John Bytheway's book about the WAR chapters in the Book of Mormon. We were reading about Captain Moroni's confrontation with Zerahemna. The we topped it off by watching a Video of the same event.
David had the Opening Song "I am a Child of God" while Melissa had the Closing Song "Whenever I Hear". I did the opening Prayer and Marilee did the closing prayer. It was a good experience for all.
After FHE I went up on the roof and laid down. The stars were spectacular with the Milky Way, almost "bright", running from the Scorpion to Cassopea. I saw two shooting stars come out of the Great Triangle, one shooting south and one shooting north.
Marilee left for work, in the Malibu, at 5:50amMST. She took with her a cup of Postum that I had made.
I mowed the grass.
In the evening, Marilee took Melissa to Mutual and I went home teaching to Eva/Jack Haines and to Elnor Towne. It was my first visit to Sister Towne so it was a matter of finding where she lives and meeting her for the first time.
David goes to work and Melissa to Seminary/School. Marilee and I are home today.
I drive Marilee to work, at Banner Desert, in the Malibu.
I go to Dana Tire but they are closed.
I go to 44 S. LeSuer where I have a nice visit with Dad and Twila. Twila gives me a name, of Sandra's, and I go do a Temple Session for that name.
I then drive to Seth Harris Shoe Shop at AlmaSchoolRoad and Ray Road. I leave with him two pairs of Boots that need repair.
I have a nice visit with Seth while I am there. He wants to know how Levi is doing so I tell him. He wants to get out of the Shoe Shop Business and become a Nurse. I tell him about Marilee's Nursing and that she is now a PICC Nurse.
I go to Dana Tire where I buy two used tires and two new tubes. I have a nice visit with Ted while I am there.
Ted will be very busy this weekend because he is still the Stake President and this weekend is their Stake Conference.
Back to the Temple where I do another Session. This time I am in a session with Todd and Kiresten Dewey from our ward. They are the only Arizona City Ward Members that I see while I am there. I do get to see Martin Kempton and Lee Huber who I have not seen for a long time.
Marilee goes to ASU to take a test for a higher Nursing Certification. I am sure she will do well....... David is gone to work at MCI. Melissa and I are here in Paradise.
I defrost both Refrigerators. I have a nice talk with Wendy and Talia and Tiffany, in Mesquite. Today is the day that Chelsey gets here Endowments in the St. George Temple. I wish I were there for that. Oh Well - Poor Folks have Poor Ways.
I then have to take a nap. Then I defrost the freezer.
When Marilee gets home from the test, she take Melissa to town for a birthday party.
Marilee and I go exploring......We follow the storm drain from the LaPalma JUMP, east. About half way to 87 it turns to the south. At that point we pick up a couple big pieces of Conduit. We then follow the storm drain south to Houser road where it just ENDS????????
Next we take the frontage road from Picacho to Picacho Peak and find all the places where the land southward drains under I10 and the Frontage Road and the Rail Road. It is raining as we are doing this, and the trains are so busy on the Rail Road that they are following each other, towards Tucson, and they are going anywhere from 0 to 15 MPH. We get Hamburger and Chicken strip at Picacho Peak Dairy Queen then drive back to Paradise, enjoying a gigantic Rainbow as the sun comes out under the clouds to the west of us.
Marilee then drives to Casa Grande to get Melissa.

Jame Hogle teaches the Gospel Doctrine Class for the first time today.
After church I attend a meeting for the "Make a Difference" Day, in the High Council Room. I finally get an idea of what I am supposed to do for this project. I learn that I will be working with Ned Mitchell, elder brother of Tom Mitchell.
In the evening we eat some of Marilee's Wonderful Spagetti and watch "Home Teachers". Then I take Melissa to Fireside at Ethington's. It was a very good Fireside and Melissa had a good time. Sister Lara told the story of her life and had pictures to go with it. Brother Moore gave us 12 rules out of the Scriptures.
Last Day of Summer
First Day of Fall - Marilee's favorite time of the year.......
More and more is coming out about the HIT that Dan Rather made on President Bush on the CBS Program "Sixty Minutes". It is now know and Dan Rather has confessed to it that he was using "forged" Documents to try and prove that President Bush did not properly fullfill his National Guard Duties, 30 years ago.
Now it seems that the Democratic National Committee, all the up to and including John Kerry, knew about this, ahead of time....... but then only time will tell about that.
I met with Sister Marilyn Cooper, at the Stake Center, at 4pm, then I followed in My Silverado as we went look at the Abuse Shelter house that we are going to fix up for "Make a Difference Day" on 23 October 2004.
I now have a much better idea of what is needed for "Make a Difference Day".
Marilee used water pressure and put a water line under the front sidewalk, getting ready to put bubblers in the front yard garden that she is building.
Marilee and David and I dug up the 2" Water Line, in the front yard, in preparation for hooking sprinkles and Bubblers for the Flowers.
Very Nice Day today.
David drove the Hyundai to work.
Marilee and I went to Casa Grande, Home Depot, to get some PVC Fittings then we cut into the 2 Inch Water Line, coming across the front yard to the house, put a T in the line and then ran lines for sprinklers and bubblers.
About 3pm Marilee and Melissa went to the Stake Center for a RS Luncheon and then the Women's Conference being broadcast from Salt Lake City.
I called and talked to Shari, in San Diego. She is fine. Butch was busy studying so I did not get to tell him Happy Birthday [late]. She is hurrying to get the family fed and go to the Women's Conference at her stake Center.
Marilee Melissa Wendell attend the Arizona City Ward at Noon. I teach in the High Priest's Group and the subject is Sacrament and Sacrament Meeting. A wonderful subject to talk about and we have a good discussion.
After the block, Brother Grover and I take care of the Donations.
Marilee Melissa Myself then go to Gilbert for "Taco Sunday" with Kevin's family AND for Kevin's Birthday Party. Very good visit and lots of people there. David, Andrew and Rachel are there. Kevin Homer is there with his new Victory Motorcycle by Polaris.
We then follow Angela and Kenneth to their new Home in Gilbert. First time we have seen it and it is NICE. I am impressed by the Sculpture that Angela has done of Barry Bonds and his father.
Marilee does not go to work today. We go to Casa Grande, Home Depot, and buy Lumber for the Center Cube.
Ann comes from Sierra Vista then she and Marilee go to Gilbert so Ann can get an adjustment from Kevin. They go to Seth Harris Boot Repair shop to get my boots but the shop is closed.
I work on the Center Cube framing the East Wall. Then David comes out to help me and we frame the North and South Walls.
After Marilee gets home she works on the water sprinkler system in the front yard.
We have a wonderful Family Home Evening, reading 3 chapters from John Bytheway's book about the "War" Chapters in the "Book of Mormon".
Marilee gone to work and Melissa gone to school. Cloudy but nice today.
