01 November 2004 ............................................. Monday
Election Eve ................................... Most important election of our time.
Sure hope President George W. Bush is relected as I am sure he will be.
I find it hard to believe that John Fn. Kerry will get even one vote. Don't the American people "Love America" and "Pay Attention" and "Know that John Kerry is a "Blame America First - Traiter to America???"
Marilee and David are gone to work today with Marilee leaving very early this morning, 3 or 4 am.
I drove Melissa, Amanda to Seminary/School. James was not ready.
While they were in Seminary I got some things at Home Depot, then I picked up Amanda from Seminary and brought her home with me ............ she lives next door.
02 November 2004 .......................................... Tuesday
Joshua and Lara - Married today, in St. George, Utah, in the St. George Temple
ELECTION DAY Today - George W. Bush won another four years in the White House

Marilee, David and Myself VOTED today. We had to drive to Picacho to do it but WE VOTED................guess who we voted for [smile]
I took the kids to Seminary/School.
The Gazebo is not completed yet...............
I am almost done with the wiring of the Center Cube.
03 November 2004 ..................................... Wednesday
George W. Bush has won FOUR MORE YEARS !!!! Hip Hip Hoorayyyyyyyyy.
It's a mandate and Osama Bin Ladin is going down!!!!
President George W. Bush got more popular votes than and US President EVER. Not sure the exact numbers, yet, but President Bush beat Callenger, Senator John F. Kerry by 4,000,000 [4 million] popular votes.
President George W. Bush won the vote by more than 51% of the Popular Vote and that is the first time that has happened since Ronald W. Reagan. Even the supposedly "popular" Bill Clinton, NEVER got close to 50% of the popular vote.
The people have spoken. It IS a mandate. The Conservative picked up about 5 new seats in the Senate and about 6 new seats in the House.
The hate filled Lying Left has been rejected.
Now maybe we can get rid of the FAILED United Nations, the FAILED World Court, the FAILED El Queda, the FAILED Osama bin Ladin.
Now maybe FREEDOM can come to millions more people.
Then the Gospel of Jesus Christ can go forth to FREE peoples so they have the opportunity to know that God lives, Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith is his Prophet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his church, President Gordon B. Hinckley is THE Prophet of God on the earth today, any and all people that will Learn - Live - Like the Commandments of God, WILL have all the happeniness they could possible ever dream of.
I finish the wiring in the Center Cube, take pictures of it and post those pictures in "Paradise" on www.wendelleyring.com........take a look.
I take Melissa and Amanda to Dewey's for Mutual. Then I go to Hogle's where I put the Paint, for the Gazebos, into the back of the Moody Van. Brian Moody is going to paint the Gazebos. I get a copy of the Casa Grande Dispatch and after a thorough search I do not find an article about "Make a Difference Day".
I Home Teach Eva and Jack Haines. They have been ill and in hospital for tests and were not at church last Sunday. Doing OK now.
04 November 2004 ..................................... Thursday
I hauled off all the left over lumber from the Abuse Shelter. Nothing left to do now but the painting.
05 November 2004 ...................................... Friday
Marilee/David gone to work ................ David was not even here last night. Melissa gone to school. I am working on the Center Cube.

06 November 2004 .......................................... Saturday
Marilee is gone to work at Banner Desert Medical Center. David never came home last night.....stayed at Andrew's in Chandler.
I worked on making a couple of Saw Horses until I received a call from Carol Clawson. She needed help to move her belongings from Tempe to Phoenix so I went and helped her. Just North of Casa Grande the Left Front Tire, on the Silverado, failed and I had to stop and change it. I proceeded, from that point, without a spare tire.

Armando and Alicia - Married TODAY, in Mesa, in Temple

We awake at Bridgette's, in Yuma. We go to Sant's Drug Store for breakfast. Levi came there and we had a nice visit with Marilee, Levi, Ann, Rob, Bridgette, David, Rachel, Andrew, Melissa, Myself [Wendell Haws Eyring Jr.]. Good food and good times.
We next meet at the Presbyterian Church where Levi and Jennifer are married, till death they do part.
When the veil is raised, so the Bride and Groom can kiss, is the first time I have ever seen Jennifer. She is a cute girl and they are a good looking couple.
Heartbreaking to me that they have decided to marry out side the Temple of God. I hope that changes some day.
Our instructions for getting from the wedding to the reception were to drive east to Fortuna Road then north to the Country Club. There was Us in the Malibu, Bridgette in Levi's Car, David Rachel Andrew in Rachels Honda, Rob Ann in their car. Problem is there are TWO Fortuna Roads!!!!!!!! We missed the first [and correct] one and drove about an extra 15 miles to the second one. It took awhile to realize that we were in the wrong place. Then was a telephone call from Kenneth and we drove back to the Fortuna Road in Yuma to the reception.
We actually were not late, getting there while the salad was still being served.
It was a nice reception, basically consisting of a sit down dinner and lots of visiting. there was music and a dance floor and I did dance with Bridgette. That was nice.
Then lots of photos and visiting and we loaded up and drove back to Paradise, arriving there about 2am.
14 November 2004 ..................................... Sunday
I went to the Stake Center at 9am to meet with Dean Scott and get our new computer running. We finally did get it running and were able to do donations today.

I spent most of the day at the Clerk's Office. I got the October Statememt Reconciled. Then at 8pm I met Dean Scott, the Stake Clerk, there and he converted us over from our hand written check system to Computer Checks.
The Relief Society Presidency and the Bishopric were there. They needed some checks written and since I was the only one who knew how to do it, I stayed till all checks were written. Les and I were the last ones to leave the building.
Marilee was already gone to bed when I got home at 11:15pmMST.

Thanksgiving Day

Good Weather today
I drove to Mesa to visit with Darren/Julieee and Family. We had a really nice visit.
I help Darren and Jared remove the Cylinder from one of their motorcycles. It and the Piston appear to have Foriegn Object Damage. I suggested they get the biggest piston available then bore out the Cylinder to that size. Also Shave the Cylinder Head for higher compression. Those two things aught to turn this bike into a real hot dog!!
About 11am I drove over to Pioneer Park and the Ray Reunion. Had a really nice visit with them.
Of my Mother's Generation, those that have passed on are: Mom, Alma, Cy. those that were in attendendance were: Dad, Nonie, Kay, Irving, Ethlyn.
Of My Generation attending were: Myself, Pat, Twila, Wesley, Paul Ray, Christine, Ronnie, Tammy, Jerry, Lila, Dan, Johnny, Melvin, .........................
Someone help me with the names that should be here!!
Then I drove to Paradise and a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner and Visit with Marilee, Ann, Rob, David, Melissa, Daisy Bear.
I fogot to take pictures today.............sorry about that!!
In the evening we had a lot of fun playing "ImagineIff" and "Left - Center - Right".
Rob and Ann set up their new tent and spent the night outside.

Date: Wed, 24 Nov 2004 06:48:44 -0700 From: "Michelle Eyring" Add to Address Book Subject: Fw: Re: To Kill an American To: undisclosed-recipients@ Subject: To Kill an American To Kill an American You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American. So an Australian dentist wrote the following to let everyone know what an American is, so they would know when they found one. (Good one ya, mate!!!!) An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan. An American may also be a Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans. An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God. An American is from the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person the pursuit of happiness. An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need. When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country.! As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best, the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best athletes. But they also welcome the least. The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America. Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. I've been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 other countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists. So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and every bloodthirsty tyrant in the history of the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American. Author unknown Pass this around the World. -- Michael Scott michaelds@comcast.net
27 November 2004 ............................................ Saturday
Marilee and I left Paradise at 9am and drove the Malibu to "Wright House", in Mesa, for the marriage of Tiffany Johnson. It was very nice. Sad it was not in the Temple.
We loved visiting with Marilee's Siblings and with Grandmother.

Dear Jennifer - thank you for your reply. I need to
share with you a desire for my family to see you and
Levi during the Christmas season. Maybe the day
after, if not that day? This is Ann and Rob's last
Christmas here - they will be transferred with the
army some time next year - when his time as a drill
sargent is up. He is expecting to go to Iraq. He
says that all of the army is there and there is no
reason to expect otherwise. Also, David will be going
on his mission this coming spring - and he won't be
here for two christmas's to come. Sooooooooo if there
is a way we can work this out that would be great.
Let us know your schedule as early as possible so we
can see what we can do. Ann is very concerned. She
wants so much to get to know you, as do we all.
Melissa read your email with me so she knows you saw
her note. Thanks so much for responding. I look
forward to a continuing correspondence. Love, Marilee

28 November 2004 ............................................ Sunday
Amber's Birthday today.
I left home early and went to visit Sonya who was not there. Then I went to the Clerk's Office where I was needed to help with the new computer system. We got a lot done and got some more people trained a bit.
I learned that there is a "bug" in the MLS Software that makes it so you cannot record when Home Teaching is done!
29 November 2004 ........................................... Monday
Well
The wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend is over and Marilee/David have gone back to work and Melissa has gone back to school.
This morning it is 25 degrees with a breeze blowing out of the west.
Weather reports are calling for a freeze tonight!!
I move Blaze's pen.
I spend a few hours at the clerks office and get a lot done but I still have not been able to reconcile October, in the new MLS Software!!
At 04:15pmMST I pick up Melissa from the Bus Stop in Tierra Grande and bring her home to Paradise.
For Family Home Evening we read the Editorial Page on the back of the lated "Church News".
30 November 2004 .................................................. Tuesday
Marilee/David to work today. Melissa to Seminary/School.
The Temperature dropped to 19 degrees just before Sunup.
The Water line [hose] out to the horses froze and will need repair.
I posted the Photos from Tiffany's Wedding, on Saturday, to www.wendelleyring.com.
Today I took Photos of the Finished and Painted "Gazebos". They have now been posted to www.wendelleyring.com.
So finally "Make a Difference Day", which I have renamed "Make a Difference Month", is done!! I had hoped to finish "Make a Difference Day" by "Thanksgiving Day" BUT it took longer than that!
After bringing Melissa home from the School Bus Stop. I went to the Clerk's Office for our first day of Tithing Settlement. It went well and it was a pleasure to be there to assist Bishop Cozart of the Arizona City Ward.
By the time I got home, just after 10pm, Marilee was already in bed.
