March is my Favorite Month
March means that cursed COLD is going to go away
All things SPRING forth, with new hope and new life
21 March is the FIRST day of SPRING
Go
March
go!
01 March 2004 ................................. Monday
Marilee went to Banner Desert and I took the Children to Seminary/School.
I found that the reason the Polaris would not start, last night, was that Melissa had put it into Reverse! It can be started in Reverse, BUT, to do so you must hold down the Reverse Sputter Bypass Button, which she was not doing.
04 March 2004 .............................. Thursday
It is Wet, Cold, Windy, Rainy and it has been forever and I hate it.
13 March 2004 ......................... Saturday
Awright...
I can hardly wait to see you.
Love,
Dad

Hello Family,
This is just an email to inform my lovely family that I am coming down to visit over Spring Break. I arrive in Phoenix on Saturday, March 13th at 4:30pm on Southwest Flight 2428. I will be staying until Monday night March 22nd.
So, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you. Please arrange for some time off so we can all see each other and so you all can meet David at one point or another during our trip down (that's the whole point of his coming to AZ, you know). Okay, lots of love and we'll see you in less than two months. Sara
17 March 2004 ............................... Wednesday
I got what I wanted for My Birthday! A Bonfire and a Weiner Roast.
Attending were: Marilee, Levi, Ann, Bridgette, Sara, David, David, Melissa. It was great!
As Brent and Sara and David were driving down Blair Road, we poured a trail of Gasoline, across Blair Rd., then lit it, giving them a wall of Flame. They stopped and we had a good laugh.
Then we hurredly put out that fire and got set for Levi and Bridgette who were about due to arrive. When the turned down Blair Road, again we poured a trail of gasoline, then lit it, giving them a wall of fire. They stopped!
Then we all visited and had a lot of fun and food.

18 March 2004 ................................ Thursday
Dave, my wonderful boyfriend, will be coming down to meet you all, too (he already met Mom and Squisha, but the rest of you, you know). He will be flying in on Thursday the 18th at 6 pm and
20 March 2004 ................................. Saturday
Again today, I got what I wanted for My Birthday!
A Bonfire and a Weiner Roast.
Attending were: Marilee, Dad, Pat, Twila, Darren, Julie, Jared, Matthew, Brandon, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly, Hank, Michelle, Emily, Jessica, Lindsay, Luke, Kevin, Jinny, Millie, 4 little kids.
It was great!
Darren brought 3 motorcycles and 1 quad plus we had our quad running today. As everybody was riding around on the quads and motorcycles, I was pulling the 40 Foot Flatbed trailer around with a lot of people on it. OH WHAT FUN!!
Then we all visited and had a lot of fun and food.
21 March 2004 ........................... Sunday
After Church we drove to Mesa, LaRee's for Taco Sunday.
22 March 2004 .......................... Monday
I sure have gotten behind at writing in here!!!! Today, when I took David and Melissa to Seminary/School, I stayed at the Clerk's Office and worked on FIS until I had January and February Reconciled and I was ready for the Auditor and I had the Auditor/Bishop Scheduled for Wednesday at 05:30pmMST.
In the evening, Marilee drove Sara to the Airport so she and and David could go back to Salt Lake City.
23 March 2004 ................................... Tuesday
I picked up David, from High School, at 12:30pm and we drove to the Scout Store in Mesa, at Gilbert Road and Southern.
I purchased him a Scout Uniform and Patches and Scout Handbook, so he can get his "Eagle" Scout Award.
We then drove to the Greenfield Stake Center so as to be sure where it is, because that is where the Eagle Board of Review will be, on Thursday night.
David called Don Holm and Nick Goodman, to verify they will be there and to be sure they know where "There" is.
We then drove to Town and Country Motorsports and picked up the Drive Clutch Puller, that I order last December and it has finally arrived.
While there, we looked at the Quads that they have for sale, and asked them which of all the Quads they sell would win a Drag Race? They pointed us to the Yamaha "Banshee". We looked at it and drooled over it, then we headed for Paradise.
On the Way to Paradise, I dropped David off at CAC [Central Arizona College] for his class tonight.
When Marilee came home from work, at about 7pm. she felt terrible. Extreme neck and upper back pain.
She went right to bed. Upon checking, we found that her heart was fluttering.......irregular and inconsistant beating.
We waited until after I picked up David, from CAC, then I took Marilee to the Emergency Room at Banner Desert Medical Center.
We were there all night, arrive back in Paradise at 5am so we could wake up the Children and get them off to School.
The Doctors found that Marilee's heart was fluttering/irregular [we already knew that] but there is nothing wrong with it and she did NOT have a heart attack. She must rest and relax and NOT go to work for a couple days.
24 March 2004 .............................. Wednesday
Marilee does not go to work today.
I went to the Clerk's Office at about 3pm and made sure all the Paperwork was in order, then at 5pm three more people came: Bishop Cozart, Les Grover, Stake Auditor - Shea Nieto. Shea gave us a thorough Audit and pronounced us and our records, to be in very good shape.
That felt good and was only after 70 to 90 hours of concentrated labor in an effort to find and fix all the errors we had made and to get the paperwork properly organized.
25 March 2004 .................................... Thursday - David passes "Eagle" Board of Review
Marilee does not go to work today.
This evening, Marilee, David, Rachel, Melissa and I, drove to the Greenfield Stake Center for David's "Eagle" Board of Review. Also there were Don Holm and Nick Goodman who sat in on David's Eagle Review. In the opening Ceremony, David lead the group in the "Pledge of Alliegence.
Then during the actual Review, Marilee, Rachel, Melissa and I sat out side, in the Hallway, as David was being reviewed.
David Passed and is now and "EAGLE" Scout.
We are very proud of David Thomas Gunderson, and we congratulated him for becoming an Eagle. In fact we even drove to Nielson's Frozen Custard and enjoyed a Concrete.
On the way home we let Rachel off so she could then ride home, to Maricopa, with Ashley, who was there waiting for Rachel.
It was a wonderful Experience. We have 5 sons and two of them got their Eagle - Tim and Dave. The Oldest and the Youngest.
26 March 2004 ..................................... Friday
Marilee does not go to work today.
29 March 2004 .............................. Monday
Melissa was very sick last night and this morning. She stays home from school and I take here to Dr. Stack.
Dr. Stack says that her left "inner" ear is infected and gives her a shot of Pennicillin. He will set her an appointment with Dr. Genta.
About 7pm, our Home Teachers, the Hardy's bring supper to us. The only ones here are Melissa and Myself. Marilee had to work late, at the Hospital and David is at a Blue Notes Practice.
30 March 2004 ........................ Tuesday
Melissa stays home from school, again today. Still recovering from her illness.
David and I leave at 6am because we pickup Megan, on the way to Seminary. Megan is a Sohpmore at Casa Grande High School and she just joined the church. This morning is the first time for her to go to Seminary. We will take her each morning, from now on.
